I ended up buying this cause one of my dogs is gluten free and I buy her jinx brand, but buy the other 4 this brand. I empty the bags in a 60 lb container so I don’t have any identifying labels, but this is the second bag, different times, that my dogs refuse to eat unless they r starving. Not sure what’s wrong in those two bags, but I decided not to buy this brand again. I have a vet appt today for one cause she quit eating, so that’s why.

i switched to this food and have had two occasions where they havent had it in stock! its so dangerous to give dogs other food they arent used to because it stocks there system and dog have died doing that. if you are going to sell dog food have it in stock! they have canceled my delivery too.

What I liked about the bag is that it had a tear off top, where the pre-tear is already there, which made it easy to open. Secondly, the bag just below the tear off is able to be sealed. This is the first time that I’ve seen that feature, especially on a 30 pound bag. It makes it easy to keep my dog out of the bag. Lastly, my dog absolutely loved this food. I think this is the first time that he has had salmon. Plus, it’s affordable.

My dogs both absolutely LOVE the taste of this food but recently eating this is like setting off an allergy bomb in both dogs. :( We buy salmon and sweet potato because both dogs are allergic to most everything else. Idk if the formula has changed or what but the last two bags of this have really caused a reaction in both dogs. Our Cane Corso is shaking her head and scratching as if her skin is mildly irritated and our Corso/ Pitty mix has developed a double ear infection and has been digging at her skin mercilessly. We took a trip to the vet and after a check up and some antibiotics for the infected ears we were told they're most likely allergic to their food and we should switch to something else ASAP. So now we have 1 uncomfortable dog and 1 miserable dog...and lots of confusion as to why this sudden allergy to the food they've loved and tolerated for so long :((

It's probably a good food but my dogs don't like this flavor as much as the lamb and brown rice. Personally, I can't deal with the smell. It will knock you over every time you open the bag. First open is really bad. It's an incredibly strong fishy smell. And we all know that what goes in must come out! I won't be buying this again.

Glad it's back, or that something close to the original I bought for years is back. My pit happily eats this (and the Jinx Salmon recipe that Sam's sold for a while.). The grains-free formula is good for my pup's digestion (and output), and his coat. Over the years since the pandemic, Sam's couldn't consistently offer a salmon grains-free product for any length of time. This required often switching out the pup's diet, slowly changing over. It was a pain, and the pup never really liked other varieties offered from time to time, particularly the chicken based ones, although real chicken is the pup's favorite food. The varieties with whole grain rice were a disaster for his digestion. And finally, Member's Mark comes back to this. Please keep it consistently forever. The grains-free product is best for pups with allergies and skin issues, and this salmon variety is well liked. Plus, the product includes supplements for dogs troubled with bone and arthritis issues. As prices go these days, this product is a relatively good value for a premium dog food.

We've used this product before and our dog loved it. However we bought 2 bags on February 4th, 2025 and it's making our dog sick. He won't even eat it now. He sniffs the food bowl and walks away. This has never happened with him before. We bought some other food locally and he eats it immediately. There is something obviously wrong with this batch and we wish to return both bags. Best before date on bags is APR 08 2026. Has a lot# below date H0075 22 01:46.

Ordered this on march 13th and my dogs loved it and their bowel movements were so much better composited to the purina one!!! Fast forward to April 2nd I ordered a bag and just opened it tonight to put in their dog food container and it looks completely different!!! I’m so disappointed —- tried to post pics but it would not let me!! I will be contacting Sam’s Club!!

This is the best kibble my dogs have ever had. We use kibble as a supplement to homemade food. We came from Blue Buffalo and Pruina One Instinct, and their gut seemed to respond very well. Less gas, solid poops for all 5 dogs. No issues. Choose salmon (or lamb or beef) type by Member's Mark and don't be fooled by the cheap price of the Large Breed line they have. It doesn't get close to matching the quality of this, and when we switched, my dogs issues came back. This blend is well-balanced in nutrition with less fillers, omega 3, and anti-inflammatory fats. if you're considering the chicken type, just take the safe route and choose salmon so you don't have any risk of chicken-based gut reactions.

My dog loves this food been using it for several years.However, in recent past it seems there is a lot more crumbs in the bag.Total of almost two pounds of crumbs. Im Trying to train the dog to snort it with a straw. Not working so well. What do I do with all the extra crumbs?
