Amazing addition to the kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was the upgrade a need? No it wasn't. But there were enough wants to justify it. The Flex Duo was the main reason for selecting this range. We found ourselves, as I'm sure many families do, needing to cook different things at different temperatures at the same time so that everything is done at the same time. This solves that. Plus, both can be cooked with convection which helps them cook faster. Fast boil is great and works really well. The griddle setup is awesome. Air Fry comes in really handy (and the basket is included). The SmartThings setup is simple if you are already using that ecosystem. You can make adjustments on the app, get notifications when preheat is done, etc. We are definitely glad we decided to upgrade. Highly recommended!
Smart purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this range as part of our kitchen redo that also included a Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator and microwave. All 3 work great and we believe it was a smart purchase. Only problem we had with the range was the rubber on the racks came off but Samsung replaced them right away.
Double Oven is Useless
The first few times using the dual oven, I thought I just need to adjust times and temps. But it never worked unless I used the full oven or just the top. Waited over a year to bite the bullet to purchase. Very sad plus the shorty paint peels off and looks horrible in my new kitchen. Waited 7 years to save for my kitchen.
We want you to love your oven, Helen. Let's go ahead and check the dual oven. Your oven has different temperature settings when you use the upper and lower oven simultaneously. The range for each oven changes depending on the function and temperature setting of the other oven. Please check this link to your user manual for details. Turn to pages 28 to 32. https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202207/20220713103626154/NX60A6751SS_AA_DG68-01379A-01_EN_MES_CFR_220712.pdf Should you ever need more assistance, please feel free to get back to us via the following options: 1. AMAZING
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking at ranges for the past 18 months as I wanted a double oven with the air fryer capabilities. The Samsung Smart Freestanding Gas Range with Flex Duo™, Stainless Cooktop & Air Fry 6.0 cu. ft. Capacity in Black Stainless Steel (NX60A6751SG/AA) offered the features I felt was important in an attractive package. Not only is the range attractive, the performance is off the charts. The range is very intuitive and easy to use. I like the double oven configuration and range/oven heating is fast and evenly distributed to create optimal cooking outcomes. The double oven feature is great for family sized meals as well as solo dining. Being able to cook at different temperatures ensures nothing is burnt, overcooked or undercooked. I love the flexibility and ease. Personally, I have not found an air fryer that I felt made delicious food however this is the best I have experienced - my french fries didn't taste like cardboard and the speed was amazing. Overall, this is by far my favorite range due to the intelligent design, features and convenience. I wholeheartedly recommend the Samsung Smart Freestanding Gas Range with Flex Duo™, Stainless Cooktop & Air Fry 6.0 cu. ft. Capacity in Black Stainless Steel (NX60A6751SG/AA).
Flexible range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great features and I am happy so far with the flexibility of the two ovens. Bakes pretty evenly. It haven't used all that it can do such as air fry. The cooktop is a little getting used to because getting the right cook temp was a little tricky at first. I haven't used the griddle feature as of yet. All in all I am happy with my purchase.
Stove of the Year
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been waiting for this option to get this stove for a couple of years now. Lets just say patience is virtue as this is an impressive work of art. We are barely 2 weeks in to it but this stove is amazing. It heats the oven to temperature in half the time my other stove did. It boils water in half the time my other stove did. Half the time means that much more savings for not using electricity when its at is peak demand. We used the dual oven to the max this past Easter cooking tri-tip, scalloped potatoes, ham, and roasted vegetables, and a pie for desert with little worry. On top was glazed carrots, sauces, and gravy with plenty of room and options. It was fun again being in the kitchen knowing that your meal was going to turn out great. Could not be happier with this product. 10/10!!!
World Class
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dual Oven is a space and energy savor. To heat only half takes barely 5 minutes so my pizzas are ready to go quickly. I usually let it stabalize for just a few more minutes to make sure to not burn the top of my items if using the top oven. It does take some getting used to because it cooks different on the top or bottom oven. Also this is a convection oven so even heat. Overall I like a new feature every time I use it. The timer is unique and requires you shut it off, but better than my old one which I never heard. The cooktop is clean, provides multiple options for different burner sizes. Overall A+ on this unit. Planning a kitchen remodel around this unit now. :)
Almost perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have waited soooo long for this oven! It was definitely worth the wait. I love to bake and make large meals for lots of people. I love being able to have 2 separate temperatures for different items. I have never had a convection oven so I baked cookies in the top using convection and in the lower using conventional to see which I liked better. It takes some adjusting of temperature or time for the convection. I almost burned my corn casserole the 1st time with the inside still being unbaked. For cupcakes I find I prefer the conventional but for cookies the convection is great. I love being able to choose the proper size burner for my different pans. I love the griddle for making breakfast. The air fry feature is amazing for reheating leftovers and making fries and chicken tenders crispy. It is also great for making crispy wings. The preheat on the oven is so fast! I've never had an oven heat up that quickly. The musical chime that let's you know it is ready is nice but goes on way too long. It starts to get a bit annoying. The stove top is hard to keep looking nice. It does not clean easily and you can see every smear, fingerprint or piece of lint on it. I can not seem to get it to polish cleanly, very frustrating for my OCD brain. I think it would have been much better to have a marbled design like my old stove. Easier to clean and stay looking clean. The front feet on the bottom of the stove are very noticeable, I'm not a fan of that. The stove is connected to my phone, which I haven't decided if I like or not. We will see over time. Overall, I am in love with my new oven. It is very sleek and elegant looking. I love making meals for all my friends and family.
nice addition to kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I am very happy with this appliance BUT for what I paid I think a printed Use & Care Manual would have been nice to have. I am 70+ years old and to have to use a computer for usage info is not easy. I'm not printing 70 pages
Just awesome!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung flex duo has so many features. Between the split oven, the air fryer, the high output burner, so many features. I was afraid that a lot of these features wouldn't be used. Boy was I wrong. The first weekend we were using the split oven already. Making dinner and appetizers while having the ability to have 2 different temperatures and 2 different timers was a significant time saver. It allowed us with practically zero planning to get dinner ready without stressing over what to put in when and at what temperature and balancing out everything, it was just wonderful to use. The air fryer is just something that's out of this world. I've used small air fryers in the past and they just never worked for what I wanted and recipes never worked because the times were always wrong. This one just works, period! If a recipe says to put it in for 12 minutes at 375 you pull it out at the 12 minute mark and your food is cooked perfectly. I have never had so much joy with one function of any appliance. About the only downside to the air fryer is cleaning the tray that they recommend you use, which is huge, as even if you spray it. Spray it. It collects a lot of food debris which takes on and is slightly painful to clean. Don't get me wrong. I think it's worth it. Regardless of how much work it takes. I would recommend having a stiff brush in order to clean the stainless steel tray that you're supposed to use. The oven like the air fryer seems to be calibrated. Absolutely perfectly temperature-wise as when you follow a recipe and, like the air fryer, if it says 350 for 25 minutes your food is done at 25 minutes. 25 minutes. The burners are phenomenal, especially the high output burner and even the center burner with its oval shape which allows for a nice even spread of heat when using the included skillet or your own. The included skillet is a bit small and hard to cook some foods on like pancakes, but using your own is just as easy. The center burner is long and wide and as long as your skillet fits you can cook on it just fine. The controls for the oven are at the back of the stove which doesn't quite as modern and new as some other ovens but it works just fine. Watch out if you have a pot filler faucet as the off valve ve May hits the top of the back control panel as it is slightly taller than my previous oven. The controls are fairly straightforward and if it requires a full oven, as in no divided, like when you're using the air fryer, it will warn you.
