Dog likes it the bite size pieces. However, it's NEVER available. The old packaging was GREAT with the zip lock baggage to keep his food fresh longer. This higher protein chicken vegetables makes his belly grumble, and he uses the bathroom a lot more. Due to this food never being available, we have to switch often. Please Sam's Club bring back the old Chicken and Rice formula with the zip lock bag. Our dogs and we will all thank you!!

Have used this for several years with no problem. Then they changed the formula. Something in it makes my dog scratch now. She loves it but is allergic to something in it. I have kept giving it to her and just give her a Benadryl everyday. But now I can't find it in stock at all. I heard they had a recall. I called Sam's and they don't seem to know if it's going to be in stock or not. The guy on the phone didn't know about the recall. It seems they really don't know anything about this product. I wish they would bring back the old formula and most importantly keep it in stock. It's crucial to keep a dog on the same food!! Come on Sam's!

I have been buying nothing but this and the salmon pea for years. They have lowered the weight of the salmon & Pea, and changed the packaging to some cheap GARBAGE, bags for both have yet to not rip open. Also new packaging doesn’t have a ziploc top so you will need dog food container. It took me years to find these dog food for one of my dogs with severe allergies. I am actively looking again.

Why did you change the recipe?!? The stuff in the blue bag was GREAT! But this "new formulation" in the yellow bag is anything but great. I'll happily pay more but PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD RECIPE/FORMULATION! The yellow bag formula is horrible. I thew it out.

Terrible that a bulk store limits the food to two bags. I have 4 large dogs that I feed and 2 bags don't last long. It is not good for some dogs to have to switch foods all the time and with your limited quantities, I have to add I.other foods to make it last until the next time that I am allowed to buy.

Have used for years. Was out of stock while rebranding. Had to buy multiple bags at a time. Now we can't find anywhere!! Will have to change dog food for my 3 dogs. Quite frustrating 😡 even if it was in stock there is a 2 bag limit. That isn't even a months worth. Quite disappointed.

I had a really difficult time getting any of my 6 dogs to eat this did food, including a beagle which usually eats everything. When they finally realized it was all they were getting, they reluctantly ate it. ALL OF THEM started itching profusely and upon observing them more closely, they had broken out in a rash. It caused some major skin conditions with sores and ear infections from the yeast. I am certain it was the food because I stopped the food, and the itching started to relax. I fed it to them again being not convinced it was really the food, and the same thing happened. It has now been about 2 months and there is still some issues with their ears and skin and even skin discoloration, which the vet said was caused by skin trauma. Perhaps my breeds are just extra sensitive - I have a Shihtzu, Bichons and Beagle so beware if you have these breeds.

the dog food is fine, the availability is terrible.

Our dogs have allergies. And they love this dog food and it gives them absolutely no trouble.

The two dogs really enjoy eating it.
