I have yet to sleep on this so I can't review it for comfort. I bought this in store and when I unrolled it, it smells so terribly like fish, I don't know when I'll be able to sleep on it.

I give 5 stars for comfort but 1 star for coolness. It does have an odor upon opening, but goes away rather quickly. It would be a perfect topper if only it was cool.

The topper is made of memory gel foam that has a special cooling technology that keeps the space around you cooler when sleeping. I am a restless sleeper that tosses and turns all night long and I am one of those people that's always hot and uncomfortable while sleeping,which is why I wanted to try this specific topper. I definitely thought that this would make my bed much more comfortable as this is a brand that I trust and memory gel foam is great, however, I was a bit skeptical about the cooling effect abilities but figured I had nothing to lose. I am so happy that I gave this topper a chance as it really does keep me cooler while sleeping ,which makes a huge difference in the quality of my sleep.The support is unbelievable,as it literally hits my body at all the right spots like it was customly created just for me. The other part of this topper that I love is that it doesn't transfer movement,so when my spouse moves or gets out of bed I no longer feel movement on my side,which as a light sleeper this is a huge deal. Overall,this is an amazing product that I would highly recommend to everyone, including my family and friends,as the only regret that I have is not getting one of these sooner.

It was very easy to install, I put mine on, then gave it a little time to fluff up since it was vacuum sealed. After it perked up I put the cover on and my normal sheets. Then sweet dreams! I have told all my friends about how comfortable this pad is, would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I buy toppers for all my beds as it just a closer feel to contouring and it helps with pressure points in my shoulder. Some sink and do very little even though they may have a nice height, this topper on the other hand supports and contours around me. Super comfy and not hot to sleep on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we came across this mattress topper, it was very convenient that our 15 year old son just mentioned he didn't think his mattress was as comfortable as his brother's (who recently got a new one). After laying on this mattress topper (even on the ground) he mentioned it was like sinking into a cloud. Once we put this topper on his mattress, he was hooked. So, long story short, getting this topper has extended the life of our current mattress since we didn't The best part of this topper is that is not nearly as thick and bulky as other mattress toppers we've used but WAY more comfortable than standard mattress pads. My son definitely noticed the cooling feature as well since he has a fan on near his bed and he mentioned the cooling sensation when he first gets into bed now. Outstanding product! There's no doubt that we'll be looking to get this topper for our master bedroom soon!

I own this for over a decade and it is comfortable and held up well. My topper has started to break down and pill and I am looking another. I see people saying various toppers are too soft but they misunderstand what a memory foam topper is for. It's supposed to be soft and squishy and your mattress is supposed to provide the firmness. This is to fill in the gaps between your lower back, behind the knees etc.. that a firm mattress doesn't, it is not to refresh your mattress, though it will help.

I usually get pretty hot throughout the night, but with the Serta cool topper, I was blown away by how cool it kept me. The topper's memory foam feel was great for my back. I work on a computer for about 8 hours a day and this topper has definitely helped with my back pain when I get a full night's rest. When I upgrade to a king I will be buying this topper again.
