I made these tonight and even my super picky kid loved them. I brown the meat a little longer that it says to get a little crust on the edges. After I brown the meat I warm up the pita in the same pan to get the meat juices. It does not come with the vegetables that you see in the pita on the cover. I would highly recommend.

Very surprised by how good the gyro meat tasted! I heated up the meat up in a pan on pretty high heat for 2-3 minutes to give it a little char then covered it with a lid for 2-3 more minutes. The pitas I cooked covered on medium heat for 1 1/2 minutes on each side. I added thin sliced onion but some cucumber and lettuce would’ve been nice. Definitely buying these again.

I love these kits, I bought one last night. Makes 6 but you have extra meat cheese and sauce to make more than that if you buy extra pita bread. Up the street it cost me also 10.00 for just one and nothing else. These are on point and will save you a ton of money . It's hard to find these kits too not every store has them. My kids even would give these 5/5 stars and that says something as they are such picky eaters and it's something that everyone enjoys in my family.

Outstanding. The meat is delicious, which is the most important part. There is also plenty of it. I love the tzatziki sauce (which I usually do not). I added lettuce & tomato, and the included feta for a delicious and flavorful meal. I skipped the fiery feta sauce, itsnot for me. I will definitely buy again.

This is so good! Great value. 10 minutes including my recommended additions. Like the kebab shops in England! I sauteed onions with the meat and topped the pita with cabbage (coleslaw mix), thick tomatoes, cilantro, and everything that came in the meal kit. I can't believe how good this was and it easily fed our family. Please don't stop selling this Sam's!!!

This is a pretty decent kit for the novice gyro eater. The meat has good flavor, but a little on the dry side. The pitas were spot on and the spicy feta sauce was a must on the sandwich. They are pretty decent quality and if these were a little cheaper I could see buying them more often but currently I think they are a little on the expensive side. Special occasion purchase yes, but won't be an every day buy for me.

I have been waiting for these to be available so once I saw them I snatched them up. They were so good and you get a lot for the price. Definitely equivalent to a gyro I would buy at a restaurant. My family loved them and I will be sure to get again and again!

We enjoyed several meals out of this kit. The meat was tasty, and the big surprise was the sauces were good. Normally when you get a kit like this the sauce is inedible, but these were good. We added a few tomatoes and onions and it tasted great. Great for a quick dinner or lunch. The kit also gives you plenty of sauce, cheese, and meat for your pitas. I was pleasantly surprised. This won't be a once and done for me I will buy this again!

Easy and quick to make. Includes everything you need except the tomatoes and onions. One kit can make five reasonably sized gyros. We like more meat, so four is what we usually make. Bonus - The plastic container that it comes in is pretty nice, itself... Lots of uses.

I bought the gyro kit the other day and we had it that night for dinner. The kit had meat, pitas, feta crumbles, a tzatziki sauce and a fire feta sauce. We have had real souvlaki in Athens Greece, so of course I cut up onions and tomatoes to go with the gyros, but we didn't have any fries to add. But the meat was quite delicious. Very greasy and flavorful, like it's been rotating on the spit all day. My daughter, who is picky, loved them too. So much flavor.
