This is a pretty decent kit for the novice gyro eater. The meat has good flavor, but a little on the dry side. The pitas were spot on and the spicy feta sauce was a must on the sandwich. They are pretty decent quality and if these were a little cheaper I could see buying them more often but currently I think they are a little on the expensive side. Special occasion purchase yes, but won't be an every day buy for me.

We enjoyed several meals out of this kit. The meat was tasty, and the big surprise was the sauces were good. Normally when you get a kit like this the sauce is inedible, but these were good. We added a few tomatoes and onions and it tasted great. Great for a quick dinner or lunch. The kit also gives you plenty of sauce, cheese, and meat for your pitas. I was pleasantly surprised. This won't be a once and done for me I will buy this again!

I bought the gyro kit the other day and we had it that night for dinner. The kit had meat, pitas, feta crumbles, a tzatziki sauce and a fire feta sauce. We have had real souvlaki in Athens Greece, so of course I cut up onions and tomatoes to go with the gyros, but we didn't have any fries to add. But the meat was quite delicious. Very greasy and flavorful, like it's been rotating on the spit all day. My daughter, who is picky, loved them too. So much flavor.

Easy and quick to make. Includes everything you need except the tomatoes and onions. One kit can make five reasonably sized gyros. We like more meat, so four is what we usually make. Bonus - The plastic container that it comes in is pretty nice, itself... Lots of uses.

I seen in the other comments that no veggies were included, so I got me some cucumber, red onion and tomatoes, sliced them up and threw them in a lemon juice and spices marinade. Everything else you need is included. I also read that the bread falls apart so I wrapped it in a wet paper towel and put it back in the bag the meat came in ( steamed it in really thick plastic) and just nuked it for 30 seconds and it came out warm and bendy, No ripping at all. Hope my tips help you enjoy this more

It was super hot today and did not want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Brushed the pitas with a little olive oil and warmed them up, then the meat. It’s thinly sliced so heats up quickly. Both sauces were yummy- I had one of each. All we added were some tomatoes and cucumbers and we had a delicious dinner in about 5 minutes!

My family and I decided to try this meal kit and man, it definitely did not disappoint! It tasted just like you'd expect at a Greek restaurant. Even my extremely picky four year old loved it! We will definitely be buying again. The meat was so flavorful, it was all delicious.

We did cook pepper & onions and sauteed the meat in the same pan. We then added shredded lettuce. A little messy but good. Even picky YA son liked it. Actually inspired me to find gryo meat (not in our area). Then researched how to make gyro meat... Which I will be doing. Until then, I got another meal kit. Dinner tomorrow!

We bought this every week after we tried it. We ended up getting larger pita and used the smaller ones with it with hummus. We added veggies and it was so good. We cooked the meat in the air fryer and it turned out well. I really hope they bring these back.

Really liked this product. More meat than the brand they were selling last year. Flatbread small enough to slide in the toaster while you heat up the meat. Plenty of sauce and feta cheese. It suggests adding your own produce which will definitely enhance the meal. I only used shredded lettuce extra.
