I agree with the previous comment (Seriously Folgers, We Can't All Be Wrong). I too have been a loyal Folgers customer for over 40 years and find this "reclassification" to be confusing. The new "Medium" roast classification does not smells or taste like the previous Folgers Columbian Medium-Dark roast. If this is the same why is the reclassification necessary?

The 100% Colombian is one of the most chosen flavors of all..What’s best about this variety is the richness of flavor the aroma smells so good.. It’s a stronger coffee so unless you want a strong effect I would avoid using too much of a scoop..Because the 100% Colombian is about strong as an espresso in my opinion an I’m not sensitive to caffeine.. This coffee is very affordable and you do get a lot for the price . The packaging is very convenient you just open a scoop out your desire amount and pour into a coffee filter and turn your coffee pot to brew..

I linked to Folgers thinking I’d write a note of “concern” that the coffee seems to be different. I’ve used this coffee for years and it doesn’t seem to have the depth of flavor as it once did. Now considering we are in a Global Pandemic and we have climate change beating us down, is there any wonder? To that point, I would love to see some type of innovative container instead of the hulking plastic one I drop in the recycle once a week. It’s too much and know this can be better handled. Imagine a sheer, tubular sleeve “refill” that can be placed in red tub?!

I am in love with Folgers Colombian Medium Dark Roast. I am almost out and cannot find the Medium Dark roast . It is not the same as Medium. I bought the medium by mistake, made coffee, and thought it had an odd taste. I compared it with an old container and noticed the difference and actually threw it away. I searched hard and bought as many of the Folgers Colombian Medium Dark Roast that I could find. I am almost out. I hate searching for a new coffee. What are consumers like me to do when we can no longer find what we love? This makes us try other brands (what a head ache) but it takes away from your company. Someone should have a board meeting about this.

Been drinking Folgers (100% Columbian) coffee for over 30 years. The taste is still decent but definitely has lost "best coffee ever" title that I had given to it. I've found myself trying other brands, searching for that BOLD flavor that is no longer there. Please bring back the Med-Dark roast!! Your lifelong, loyal customers miss it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good cup of coffee! I like the Colombian coffee better than any other flavor. It is very strong to start to my morning. It was very easy to prepare in my Braun coffee machine. The flavor is very good. I added my caramel macchiato creamer and some caramel syrup to give it some sweetness.

My wife and I enjoy just the right taste of this coffee! This is our very favorite and has been for many years. We go outside and have our coffee dates every morning unless the weather stops us. Please NEVER QUIT making this and leave the taste right where it is and we will be your customers for ever!

I noticed awhile back that flavor and aroma of Folger's Colombian was not what it was. I then noticed that container was different too. Name of coffee used to be "100% Colombian ", it now is just "Colombian". Ingredients changed too. No longer 100% Arabica beans, it now says 100% coffee. Folger's has certainly made changes to blend. It is no longer 100% Colombian and no longer 100% Arabica beans. It is now a blend. To me, it is now just a regular coffee with a Premium price.

I've tried several Folgers blends and this one is by far my favorite. The Colombian blend is bold, but not overpowering. It also smells the best in my opinion. Although French Vanilla's aroma is pretty good, I can't say it's a true coffee smell. One whiff of this and you know you're about to get a darn good cup of coffee (please excuse my lack of expletives). Unlike the French roast, the aftertaste is pretty clean, and unlike the classic roast, it does not leave a film on the top of the coffee. I'd highly recommend it to anybody: coffee lovers and newcomers alike.

Wanted to try a different kind of coffee besides the classic one I was drinking and I was pleasantly surprised. It just smells so good in the morning when it’s brewing and I swear I smell and taste a hint of chocolate. All I can say is that this is my new favorite coffee! ❤️
