We have been drinking Folgers for more than 20 years. Recently, the taste and smell have changed and not for the better. Instead of getting a distinct coffee smell when opening the container, it has an off, chemical smell that burns the nostrils. The taste is much weaker than normal. It really barely tastes like coffee at all. Not sure what has changed but it isn't for the better.

The packaging is easy to store and it’s definitely worth it for the price. The flavor lasts until the last drop.

I've been off the Colombian for a bit. Two days ago I finally got back to drinking it again... and I'm now sorry I did. What did you do to my favorite coffee??? I was only gone for a year, and you ruined my favorite wake-up juice. I'm going to try and get my money back.

So disappointed. I have been drinking this coffee for years. Call it what you will and claim its the same but you can see based on the ones that drink it, it is not. I believe if you choose this direction and do not hear the people your dedicated columbian drinkers will be gone.

I've been buying Folgers Columbian for about a year, brewing it in my Mr. Coffee drip maker using good quality paper filters. The latest batch just clogs up the basket and drains VERY slowly. Once it does drain, the coffee is bitter. The spring valve mechanism is fine, so the fault is with the coffee. I bought two containers and returning the unused. One would think that grind consistency would be the foremost quality imperative of a packaged coffee company.

I've used 100 percent Colombian coffee for thirty years and it was always very good. There has definitely been a change in the last six months or so. It's so bitter I can hardly drink it. It's not over extraction. I know how to make coffee. I got a container and thought there was something wrong with it so I opened a new one and It was the same. It's so bitter I could hardly drink it. That sucks!!!

This container of coffee comes in a 9.6 oz container, which could last a couple of months. I also loved that the container was sealed. It helps the coffee stay fresh longer. To get some more opinions of this specific coffee, I, even, decided to get my Dad’s thoughts of this coffee because he drinks Folgers every day. He loves trying out different roast from Folgers, so I knew he would enjoy this coffee. Initially, I noticed that the Folgers Colombian coffee has a medium roast, meaning that the coffee taste is more balanced when it comes to bitterness and sweetness. I am unfamiliar with medium roast, so I was excited to see if this would become a coffee that I would enjoy in the end. I brewed this coffee with my Drip Coffee Maker and went in for the taste. Immediately, I noticed the richness and smoothness of this coffee upon taking a slip. The taste wasn’t too bitter or too weak. It has a creamy texture that I enjoyed with every sip. My father enjoyed this coffee as well. He stated that he enjoyed the richness of this coffee. He stated he could taste the flavor of the arabica beans. He could either enjoy this coffee by itself or with some added sweeteners. Personally, I enjoyed this coffee by itself because of the richness and flavor. All in all, we loved the Folgers Colombian Coffee, and we would recommend this item to our family and friends that are coffee drinkers. We don’t think any of our family and friends would be disappointed with this coffee added to their pantry. We plan to purchase this product in the future!

Folgers Colombian Coffee is the only coffee my mother will drink, she drinks 2 or more pots a day, has been doing that for over 20 years so please don't ever change it and as long as you keep up the good work with how you make the blend she will be a loyal Folgers drinker for life.

I used to drink this exclusively, but something's changed w/ the formula in the last year. The flavor and body of the coffee is not of the same richness or quality as it used to be. You can still brew a decent cup with enough grounds, but I'll be switching to Kirkland's Colombian from now on.
