I am so disappointed in Folgers! I have been recommending the100% Colombian Roast Coffee med-dark roast for many years. It has been my favorite until you supposedly reclassified the blend. The label not only changed but the coffee is no way the same. Why on earth you would change what is working for you I will never understand. The so called reclassified coffee tastes nothing like the med-dark. I am searching for a new coffee and it’s not Folgers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has a great aroma the flavor is very dark and bitter. I like these plastic canisters because you can recycle ♻️ the plastic. The brewing instructions are the same for and regular coffee maker. I love Folgers it has always been my favorite coffee ☕️

I guess all of us who noticed the change in "classification" are all wrong and nothing has changed. It's not the same and that's fine. Been wanting to switch over to Dunkin's dark roast but my wife has been hesitant. This finally helped convince her to switch. Thanks Folgers!

What ever the Folgers reason for discontinuing the Medium-Dark roast 100% Colombian coffee in commerce the only thing that counts is the bottom monetary line!!! Simple as it is the medium just tastes different and as such I will simply stop my 40+ year support of Folgers products. If enough people switch to their competitor they will listen. Everything else is lip service.

We ordered this coffee to be delivered ang when it arrived one can was open and coffee everywhere!!! When I called about refund I was told I had to bring to store??? If I wanted to done to store I wouldn't have ordered delivery! I even posted to send pics and was told no, had to bring back with receipt. I tried to upload pics but it wouldn't go through.

The 100% Colombian is one of the most chosen flavors of all..What’s best about this variety is the richness of flavor the aroma smells so good.. It’s a stronger coffee so unless you want a strong effect I would avoid using too much of a scoop..Because the 100% Colombian is about strong as an espresso in my opinion an I’m not sensitive to caffeine.. This coffee is very affordable and you do get a lot for the price . The packaging is very convenient you just open a scoop out your desire amount and pour into a coffee filter and turn your coffee pot to brew..

This is NOT the same Colombian coffee that my family has known and loved! You can tell America it was only relabeled, but those of us that have been drinking it for years know it is a new bean! I'm guessing it was switched to save a buck and relabeled....poor decision on Folgers part. Maybe the supplier changed it unknowingly, but whatever the reason, bring back the old Colombian med-dark roast! It was so good I could drink it black, not any more! This 'new' Colombian is not good, to say the least - yuck! I'm afraid to try another med-dark from Folgers and waste more money (if they even sell one anymore).

What happened? There is no way you can say this isn't different and worse! Instead of a rich pot of black aromatic coffee, it now looks like weak tea, you can see right they the liquid in the pot. We are buying small amounts of different brands, after drinking Folgers for 4 decades... 😔

This coffee was the only coffee I bought for years then all of a sudden the taste changed and it started tasting like the regular classic roast instead of the Columbian I've always bought. I looked at old canisters I had and realized that the changed it from med-dark to medium which is when I started experiencing the change in taste. I'm currently looking for a replacement. If anyone has any recommendations please post. I will not waste my money on this coffee tasting like weak gas station coffee.

I linked to Folgers thinking I’d write a note of “concern” that the coffee seems to be different. I’ve used this coffee for years and it doesn’t seem to have the depth of flavor as it once did. Now considering we are in a Global Pandemic and we have climate change beating us down, is there any wonder? To that point, I would love to see some type of innovative container instead of the hulking plastic one I drop in the recycle once a week. It’s too much and know this can be better handled. Imagine a sheer, tubular sleeve “refill” that can be placed in red tub?!
