Hi. Were very sorry to hear about your experience. The locking system of our SpillDefense laminates is made tighter than regular in order to prevent water from seeping through between planks. However, our installation guide is very helpful in providing tips and tricks on how to correctly and easily install your laminate. You can find it at selectsurfaces.ca/installation-guides. Thank you, Select Surfaces.

Hi, We're sorry to hear about your experience. While our SpillDefense laminates are resistant to spills and splashes, they are not resistant to flooding or contact with a large amount of water. So an incident with large amounts of water may cause damage to any laminate floor, such as chipping and peeling. If you still have any questions, please contact us at techsupport@selectsurfaces.ca so that we can assist you. Thank you, Select Surfaces.

Hello, Our SpillDefense laminate is 14 mm thick. Because our laminates are thicker than most, it can be a bit more difficult to click because it isn't as flexible as thinner laminates on the market. If your laminate is coming apart after a couple of months, there might be an installation issue. We always recommend watching the installation video on our website, as well as carefully reading the installation guide before starting. Feel free to contact our tech support for additional information at techsupport@selectsurfaces.ca. Thank you, Select Surfaces
