Not 24 hour waterproof

Used this product in my dining room and was very pleased with it. Decided to put in my kitchen. When reinstalling my dishwasher a connection became lose and leaked. Used my shop vac and a fan to clean water up within the hour. 34 butt joints raised considerably and had to be replaced. Was extremely disappointed in it’s performance.

Hi Jim. We're sorry to hear about your experience. While our SpillDefense laminates are resistant to spills and splashes, they are not resistant to flooding or contact with a large amount of water, so an incident such as a broken dishwasher may cause damage to any laminate floor. If you still have any questions, please contact us at techsupport@selectsurfaces.ca so that we can assist you. Thank you, Select Surfaces.
