Similar to other reviews, I had purchased this product 6-7 years ago and put in several houses. It was a great product. I put this product in my basement around 7 years ago and have been overalled pleased. However I had an insurance claim as my water heater exploded and flooded my basement. After everything was dried out I thought I would replace again. The quality of this product has diminished, and I would consider not worth the trouble. I finished half of my project (total project 450 sqft) and the boards would no longer stay snapped together. I spent several days installing and cutting. I tried to return to Sams but they would only return funds on the packages that had not been opened. So I wasted time and money. Don't waste your time and money. Went to Lowe's and bought a product that will work.

As a homeowner seeking to upgrade my living space, I invested in 1,200 square feet of this laminate flooring. What began as an exciting renovation project quickly turned into a frustrating and expensive ordeal. Upon installation, it became apparent that numerous boxes contained defective planks. The snapping strips were too deep, preventing proper interlocking. Consequently, large sections of my newly installed floor began to lift, compromising both aesthetics and functionality. I sought professional evaluation, only to discover that addressing the issue would require a complete reinstallation. Even then, there was no guarantee that the same problem wouldn't recur. Faced with this uncertainty, I had no choice but to consider the entire project a total loss. The financial impact was significant. Not only did I lose the cost of materials, but I also had to bear the expense of labor – amounting to thousands of dollars down the drain. To rectify the situation, I was forced to invest in an entirely different flooring system with a more robust locking mechanism. This experience has been nothing short of a homeowner's nightmare. I strongly caution potential buyers to think twice before purchasing this flooring. Unless you're prepared to potentially pay double – once for the initial installation and again for its replacement – I'd advise looking elsewhere for your flooring needs. In conclusion, what seemed like a cost-effective flooring solution turned out to be a costly mistake. Save yourself the headache, time, and money by exploring more reliable options for your home improvement projects.

Purchased 1000 sq ft of this flooring for light commercial; manufacturer claims a 10 year warranty. That is not true. 2 years later, when the laminate started deteriorating from daily mopping, we contacted the manufacturer and this was their response: "The warranty covers wear, fade and stain for 10 years for light commercial areas". Buyer BEWARE!

We have now had our floor installed for 1 month. I still wake up and LOVE our fresh look. We have 2 large dogs and have had no issues. We vacuum daily, and microfiber cloth mop weekly with a mixture of half water half vinegar and it’s great! I highly recommend this product. We have plans to expand our home to in the next few years and I hope this product is still available. We bought 83 boxes which covered all downstairs living room, dining room, kitchen and hallways.
