This is the first time that I've tried the water-resistant version of Sam's laminate flooring I have used Sam's regular laminate on dozens of floors for many years and tenants have always liked them, and they have held up reasonably well in dry areas. I just installed this Spill Defense, it looks great, and I expect good things! The boards had a very thin layer of glue that I could sometimes feel along the sealing surfaces. That stickiness caused me to have to give an extra, light tap or two on many boards to get that incredible extra tight seal. This floor is truly much tighter than the older laminate, and I think it's going to work great! I'll probably use it on my next floor as well!

Although more difficult to install in tight locations than other plank laminates and vinyls I've used, the quality is far superior and trumps the minor challenges I encountered. Bottom Line: This is an outstanding high-quality product...you won't be sorry when you've finish the job and see the excellent results.

We are finally finishing up every room in our home with this beautiful flooring. We started 7 years ago with the main areas of our home then now finishing bedrooms. This flooring is very durable & is waterproof if spills are not left too long. We have Barnwood in most of our home & Pearl Gray in the kitchen. Highly recommend! Make sure you allow the flooring to be in the elements for at least a few days before trying to install, it goes together much easier & have it out of the box is even better.

Installed the barnwood style in my living room, foyer and dining room. We had to watch a few different you tube videos to figure it out. But once we did, It was so easy to install that my 13 year old did most of the living room herself. Love the finished look. It definitely needs the right complimentary paint colors -- something with brown, yellow or green undertones to make it pop. It's only been down for 2 weeks but seems to be holding up great to my 3 dogs. My son even kicked a paint can over on it in the foyer and we were able to clean it up easily without any residue or problems.

Final outcome was great, but installation was challenging. We’ve installed flooring in the past with no challenges, but this was difficult to get the pieces to fit together without a lot of manual persuasion. It also damaged easily when using the flooring tools. This resulted in having to order more flooring even after adding 10% more as recommended. We did the entire 2nd floor of our house. We also did stairs and chose this particular product because it had stair nose moldings. The stair nose color was slightly different from the actual flooring. In the end we’re satisfied but not thrilled.

We have older dogs so we purchased this product months ago for our master bedroom. Then we fell in love with it so much that we decided to rip up our old laminate flooring and put this flooring down through out the entire house. Looks like real wood floors. And the fact that it is 24 hrs. water proof, well that is just a bonus with children & animals.

The quality of the laminate flooring is good. I chose the thicker laminate and installed it over concrete. It’s impressively quiet when you walk on it. My only disappointment was how many boxes were damaged. I bought a whole pallet and about 6 boxes were damaged. I will buy this product again.

Great flooring. I have laid this flooring throughout my entire house. It’s easy to install and has held up well. Going on 2 years now. I would recommend buying a flooring cutter to make the job go quicker and make less of a mess.

Purchased for upstairs hallway very pleased with how it looks and the ease of installation I'm a 65 yr old woman and had no problems cutting, or connecting the pieces would recommend to at diy person

Not as easy as advertised to put down. Did about 1500 sq ft with my wife and father-in-law in about 5 days, then a day for trim. Tough stuff. Super thick and wears a saw blade out fairly quick, so have a spare on hand. 6 planks per box.
