We have been Blue Buffalo dog food users for about 7 years. We have never had an issue at all. This was our 1st order from Sam's Club, and they offered a very very great price so we bought a couple bags.

Easily Digestible for my Standard Poodle. This is labeled for small dogs up to 30 pounds which I didn’t notice. I went with the higher protein content than the Blue Buffalo’s blue bag and so far so good.

Have been using this product for years. Saw this larger bag, seemed like good deal. I have 3 small dogs. After first feeding all three got diarrhea. Didn’t associate it with food at first. The worst one I put on chicken and rice(cooked) for 4 days. Cleared. Started adding a little of this product with her chicken and rice diarrhea came right back. Took all three off immediately and put on another brand cleared by next day. Since I have never had a problem put product I put in containers. Disposing of the bag, so I couldn’t return. Out $56.

my 14# cockapoo was vomiting nightly with another brand. When I switched to Life Protection Formula small Breed Senior Dog she stopped vomiting and was more chipper. However, 6 months later and she has gotten so fat. I feed her 1 cup/day. she doesn't get the exercise in the winter as in the summer so maybe I need to reduce the amount to 3/4 cup/day. I'm worried she will start vomiting again from hunger.

I fed this to a pair of small breed dogs for many years. They loved this food and always ate it happily. The last time I used this my vet advised complete nutrition formulas instead, so I've changed to another dog food, but this was a dog approved favorite for a very long time in my household.

Love blue buffalo! My pup has always been a fan of this brand. Everything I get is always great quality. Never makes her sick and seems to have a good flavor. I only used this when she was little, have changed since she’s grown and gained weight. The price is somewhat high compared to other brands but the quality is worth it. And so is your pup!

Purchased this about 2 weeks ago for my small dog. The food itself seems fine but my dog doesn't like the small little hard round things in the food. I guess that they are the LifeSource Bits. Not only does she leave the LifeSource Bits in the bowl but she spits them out around the area. They are hard to see but make a loud crunch when you step on them.

It’s hard to gauge pet food since we’re unable to taste it, so our only other options are are dog “Shadows’lreaction to his food or looking at the ingredients. This Blue Buffalo Small breed adult formula has a lot of great ingredients and nutrition that Shadow needs. The same way we shop for our groceries, by looking at the ingredient label, we do the same with our furry family. Blue Buffaloes ingredients start out with: debone chicken, chicken meal, brown rice, oatmeal, barley, chicken fat, flaxseed and omega. Every now and then Shadow will protest his food which means he’s getting tired of that flavor or that brand so we will switch it up.

I’m sure it’s great food, but my dog doesn’t seem to really like it..😧😔
