Not exactly sure if it’s the percentage of fat or fiber or a combination of both but both my Havanese have had stomach issues since we switched to “better” food.. I’ve adjusted the amount of food to 1/3 c per feeding but nothing’s changed. Hate to throw almost a whole bag but soft and much more frequent bowel movements not to mention the amount of gas doesn’t give me a choice. They eat it well then they’re miserable.

I have been feeding my dogs this Blue Buffalo Small Breed to my Shih-Tzu's for years. They do well and are very healthy on this food. They are only about 12 pounds, the the Small Breed version is much easier for them to chew it, as it fits in their mouth much better.

Purchased this about 2 weeks ago for my small dog. The food itself seems fine but my dog doesn't like the small little hard round things in the food. I guess that they are the LifeSource Bits. Not only does she leave the LifeSource Bits in the bowl but she spits them out around the area. They are hard to see but make a loud crunch when you step on them.

Wonderful product for our two Boston Terriers. We mix it with a bit of Can Beef stew or Chicken Dinner and they love it. They have had Blue Buffalo all their lives one is 12yrs and the other 11yrs. No real health problems plus they are very satisfied, fed twice a day. The recipe gets an upgrade ever so often but doesn't bother them . Very satisfied. Thick shiny coats lots of energy and happy.

Good price for the size bag

After my 4yr old bully started eating this food her energy level increased and it seemed to help her hip pain. She started playing like a puppy again!

I've been feeding them Blue forever, and the Senior small breed since they were 8 yrs old. They love this food and I think it's helped them stay fit and healthy. Love the soft dog treats, also.

Our 17yr-old small Dogs have not refused Blue Buffalo. The kibbles are very crunchy, but now we run the portions thru our blender to make it easier to eat for the old guys!

This food made both our dogs sick with diarrhea and temperament changes. And yes, we did phase the food in properly. They went back to normal when we switched to something else.

Ricky was very interested..What's in the bag smelled good! He is not a small breed..however seems to like the size better...he is 8 yrs.old..might be the reason as it is easier to chew.
