I had my previous Yorkie on [product:blue-life-protection-formula-dry-dog-food-chicken-&-brown-rice-recipe-small-breed-adult-dogs] and he loved it. He would eat a small amount once in the morning and a bigger bowl in the evening. When I got my rescue dog I thought I would try her on the same type of dog food. I noticed that she acted like she was extremely thirsty and would drink an entire water bowl after every time we came back inside. We took her to the vet and after confirming that she did not have any health issues the vet recommended we try another food because this food tends to have more sodium in it and could be causing her thirst. Once we changed the food she no longer guzzled the water down.

We got this food for our dachshund mix when he was about 2 years old and next month we think he’ll be 10, he’s a rescue so not 100% sure about his birthday. Anyway we took him to the vet today for a checkup and our vet bragged about how shiny his coat was and how muscular he still was for his age. Our dog is also still playful and energetic for his age and we believe this food has played a role in giving him that quality of life. This food has been great, we’ve never had any issues with it and our dog enjoys it!

I like Blue Buffalo products and always felt good about giving them to my dog. However, we found that my dog was having a lot of stomach issues when on this food and after trying to switch flavors and finding no success, we ended up switching brands all together.

My fur baby loves Blue Buffalo! He unfortunately has a very weak stomach and this is the only brand he can tolerate. It is a little pricey BUT is worth every penny because not only does he and his stomach approve, but I believe it’s what has helped keep him so healthy and youthful in his 10+ years.

My fur baby is very funny with food. Though she prefers wet food this is the only dry food she will actually eat and not give us blank stares. Other foods she will pick out pieces and throw on the floor. She loves the Blue Buffalo for small breeds

I have used this kibble for several years from Sam’s, I have had a corgi and a chichuhua(2), and a boxer on this food. I find it is expensive but it is worth the money due to seeing them healthy. They haven’t been sick and they seem to enjoy the dry kibble except the little balls that roll away from the bowl! I also feed them fresh veggies from our garden in the summer months and still supplement with blue buffalo! They haven’t stopped eating it yet! I don’t worry about what is in my kibble, I believe it is wholesome made for my fur babies .

My little Roxy loves this one over all others. She has tried almost every flavor of blue buffalo, but this is the only one she seems to really get excited for. This is a great buy and based on how much Roxy loves it, I would encourage all dog owners to make the right choice and get only the best for their pups.

This food is also a good choice. I fed this to my dogs years ago and they all seemed to enjoy it. The only reason why I switched because the store we were purchasing this from continuously didn’t have the chicken and my dogs don’t do well on any other flavors. Highly recommend!

I need small breed dog food for mine bc he’s older and he needs the smaller kibbles. Since starting him on this brand, he’s gained 2 lbs!!! Which makes me super happy. Would recommend. I’ve read some bad things about blue buffalo but my dog is healthy.
