More chicken than beef. Old tactic to list beef first on list and then chicken meal second. Since the beef isn't dehydrated and the chicken is, the chicken is much more of the actual dry weight of this food. Decent otherwise, but can't get past the misleading ingredients.

Recently found a momma dog and her litter of 6 pups. Immediately put the babies on Purina Puppy as soon as they quit nursing. Unfortunately they were throwing up within 30 minutes of eating it. Tried it for 2 days with horrid results. So we gave the Purina Puppy to our adult Rottweilers so we wouldn't waste the bag. They all threw up as well. Sam's Club took back all the Purina Puppy bags we had purchased. Jinx was on sale and looked like good ingredients so we tried it for the pups. They are thriving now, growing like weeds and not once have they thrown up this brand of dogfood. We might try the salmon version soon too. Very happy with the quality of the Jinx dogfood.

My guy is doing great on this food! Read the ingredients and I think you’ll be surprised. This is the same kibble that’s sold for double the price, retail. My bulldog weighed 31 lbs when I brought him home from the shelter. He now weighs almost 50 lbs and is nothing but muscle. His coat is like velvet and shines. He loves Jinx. I think your pup will, too!

One of my three standard Aussies did not like this food. He refused to eat it and he’s a food vacuum. My other two both ate it just like normal. We usually buy Jinx Salmon but I thought I’d let them try something different. Nope. We’ll stick to the Salmon. But we do love Jinx.
