Neocell's Super Collagen Powder in French Vanilla is the most palatable collagen powder I have used. It is convenient, mixes well in just about every type of liquid I have tried (smoothies, milk, hot and cold coffee, tea and water). The vanilla flavoring is tastey without being too sweet. There is no grittiness, no clumping, no unpleasant odor, no after-taste or slimy texture. It dissolves easily and thoroughly. With just one scoop, you are getting 6.6g of hydrolyzed bovine collagen from grass fed sources. The powder is gluten free, contains no soy, no wheat, no lactose or artificial flavors. It is worth noting however, this powder may contain trace amounts of sulfite residue. If you tend to be sensitive to them, take note. I am very happy I have finally found a collagen powder my sensitive palate can tolerate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this collagen hoping to add it to my morning coffee. It dissolved nicely with only a little clumping. A few stirs with a spoon and the clumps were gone. For me the vanilla flavoring was a little too powerful. It reminded me of powdered coffee creamer (obviously with no cream). If you enjoy those then i think you would LOVE this product. Seriously, tastes exactly like vanilla powdered coffee creamer. I just happen to not prefer those. I do think that if you were planning to use these in smoothies it would be great. I don't think the flavor would be too overpowering in that instance. Other than the vanilla flavor the collagen is great. Nice packaging, high-quality scoop, good texture.

It did not mix that well at first, so I'm not sure if I did not have enough liquid or what. I couldn't really taste the unflavored version so that is good. I think next time I will blend it into a smoothie or something. Otherwise it is good.

The fruit punch flavor is tasty. Best of all, the product contains Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is the packaging. Sometimes the wrapper has some of the collagen product exposed on the outside. I peel this off and then open the foil packaging. Otherwise, I have noted stronger nails and thicker hair.

However, the other fruit flavored sample stayed somewhat clumpy in cold water even when mixed thoroughly so I didn't enjoy it as much. Maybe it would have mixed better in a hot tea instead.

The flavor said berry but after mixing it in my water bottle it tasted like nothing. Expecting a flavor I was highly disappointed and it left a chalky after taste.
