Love this ground beef.

Very good quality. Please have more grass fed beef options (and wild caught fish and pasture raised chicken and no seed oils in Member's Mark products).

This ground beef is not 85/15. Typically I don't have to drain any fat with other 85/15. I cooked 3 lbs and there was a lot of fat in the pan, and there's a lot of water added. Burgers shrink up to almost half the size after you cook them (lots of fire when grilling). It has good flavor but I don't want to have to drain fat. I tried to upload a photo but it would not work.

Great beef! Great price! I buy this every time I do an order at Sam’s! I put them right into the freezer and then when I’m ready for use I’ll put one package into fridge the night before to thaw. They have an expiration date on each individual package which makes it nice and convenient!

I have been buying this ground beef for a few months, stocking my freezer as our family goes through quite a bit of ground beef. We have really enjoyed this grass fed-grass finished organic beef. In fact I had stopped eating ground meats due to fact that I chew very well and have previously chipped my teeth on tiny bone fragments in the meat. I discovered this ground meat was high quality and didn’t contain Any hard tiny bone fragments. Well last week I went to our store and filled my cart to restock my freezer. The meat is different, it is lighter, more watery, more stringy, more hard bits in the meat. This meat also went up in price by $.20 per lb. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed that I refilled my tall standing freezer with this and will be returning soon.

The meat is watery when raw and when cooked it is dry, crumbly and tastes almost gamey. I am not sure if they have a new supplier or changed to a lower quality meat for the same price but I will no longer purchase it. I would rather pay a little more for to keep the quality.

There's nothing more unappetizing than biting into a shard of bone. It makes me want to puke again just thinking about it. I won't be purchasing this product again for me (and my family's) safety. How terrible I would feel if someone got injured from trying to swallow a shard of bone.

We purchase 3 to five packages at a time and freeze it. I have always liked the quality up until recently. 85/15 it is supposed to contain 15% fat. I drained the fat into a bowl and weighed it. The pounds that I have yielded a bowl full of fat. The fat alone is 6.2 ounces. That's 40% +/- I WILL NEVER PURCHASE IT AGAIN!
