This Grass-Fed Ground Beef was affordable on a narrow budget. They've raised the price again so I may have to change what I'm doing again. Other than that, it is a more tender ground meat than HEB's Grass-fed.

This used to be a very high-quality ground beef but for the few months, I keep getting bone bits that when I bite down, I get a hard crunch that I'm afraid is going to chip a tooth someday. And besides, who wants bone bits in their food? I wish there was better quality control regarding this item since it's organic and grass fed. Such a loss, I'll have to start buying my ground beef elsewhere. I'm seeing a lower standard at my Sherman, Texas Sam's club. When I do a curbside, I get some vegetables like onions, for instance, that are already rotting. I can't do a curbside anymore because I can't be sure of what I'm getting. I've used other Sam's and they've always had such high quality of everything. But this one keeps disappointing me . I've been a member since 2003 and I may be at the end of the rope with Sam's.

I used to LOVE this organic ground beef but it has changed significantly and for the worse. It has increased by more than $2 per pound and the quality is not the same. I seriously question where it’s coming from because it is absolutely not an 85/15 mixture anymore. It look more like a 50/50 ratio. The one in our warehouse is very pale, more white than pink at this point. I can’t bring myself to buy it anymore. You can’t increase the price and decrease the quality. Something isn’t right with this meat anymore.

It does not taste like hamburger.

Lately every package I buy smells horrible when it’s cooking, smells like pork almost. Pink coloring that doesn’t go away no matter how long it’s cooked, so much grease accumulates, and it tastes sour! Won’t be purchasing my ground beef from Sams anymore.

After buying this since around June 2024 the quality is now do dusgusting I will no longer buy from Sam's Club. This ground burger wont even hold its shape after cooking. Its not from lack of fat . It just falls apart and the texture us next to mush. gross. You want to pull this GOOD BYE.

I’ve bought organic beef many times, but this product is bizarre. Instead of ground meat, the texture comes out of the package as a light pink paste that turns to mush in the pan and has a strange texture. Even stranger is the smell—it smells like flour or grain while cooking, not like beef. My partner and I both ate this and immediately had stomach issues all night, we did not get sick, but just did not digest well. We didn't feel satiated at all. It feels heavily processed and "fake" compared to the quality we get elsewhere. We will not be buying this again.

This meat was awful and no way was it actually 85% lean… I doubt this was even organic. There was soooo much grease and the meat almost looked like sausage. I was completely grossed out by the time I finished cooking. My family said it tasted fine but I could not eat it. At my local grocery store I buy another brand packaged similarly and thought it would be the same… absolutely not. I have never felt compelled to write a negative review on any product at Sam’s but I am completely disgusted. Stick the ground beef in the plastic wrap.

Thi meat looks and tastes FAKE. The texture is like a pink paste, it's not ground beef texture. It doesn't even have a ground beef smell when cooked. I tried multiple times to give this meat a shot at several different locations and each one I've had the same experience. So disgusting. Families are struggling to afford meat as it is and to think you can't even pay more to get quality is just sad.
