Verified Purchase

RANCID PROSCIUTTO

I also bought some prosciutto. This is where my review is focused. I bought some a few months ago and it tasted rancid. I threw it away. Two months later I bought some again and there was no improvement. It tastes rancid!!! There really is nowhere to give feedback. Won't be buying that again. Sam's has a lot of problems.

The old switcharoo

Sams had carried the Vital Farms brand of pastured raised eggs before they switched to the Members Mark brand. Everything was fine until about 2 or 3 months ago when they are putting plain brown eggs in the pasture raise container. When you have eaten pasture raised eggs you know the difference between them and other eggs. I added a pic showing the visual difference of before and after the switch. the 2 on the right are pasture raised.

Eggstroidinary Eggs

Been buying pasture raised eggs at Aldi for awhile. They are good, but I sometimes questioned if they are truly pasture raised. Shells seemed to thin for pasture raised to me. When I saw the M/M brand was back in stock at Sam's at cost that beats Aldi, I had to try them. So glad I did. These eggs are the real deal ! Strong shells with deep orange yolks and exceptional texture and flavor.

This company doesn't state what type of food they're feeding their chickens, but more than likely they're feeding them grains like corn which is ofcourse GMO corn. Yes they're cage free, and pasture raised Hens but if you're feeding them garbage grains that are Genetically Modified in a lab, then what's the use of consuming them. The real deal is GMO-Free/Pasture Raised ORGANIC Hens. Ofcourse, GMO-Free is AUTOMATICALLY labeled ORGANIC since any Organic Certified product MUST be free of GMO's.

No more egg allergy, Great taste!

I thought I had developed an allergy to eggs because when I ate them I would get severe stomach cramps when eating regular eggs. This is probably due to what they feed them and to the horrible stressfulconditions they indure. However I decided to give these Sam's eggs a try and they are absolutely the best tasting egg I have ever had in the US and no more stomach cramps. I also noted how the egg yolk is red orange color compared to the pale yellow of regular eggs. As a child, I used to eat my granpas free roaming chicken eggs and boy do these remind me of those eggs, we even got to hand pick them every morining, such wonderful memories.

Great Eggs at an Excellent Price

I have purchased these eggs as well as many other brands including Vital eggs. In comparison, Vital eggs are good but these eggs are every bit as good at half the cost. You want "Pasture" eggs, as that is the gold standard for eggs where the chickens have the opportunity to eat worms, bugs and seeds. Packages of eggs that say cage free, organic or free range can mean many different things and often be deceiving.

Ignore the Bad Reviews!

These eggs are AMAZING! I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews complaining of thin shells and pale yolks. My eggs were a gorgeous deep orange color and had a very thick, hard shell. 10/10 in quality- you will NOT find conventional eggs like this in the US. These taste great and I would recommend.

Fantastic!

Wow! Judging from the reviews, Sam's must sources these eggs from different farms, but our eggs were sensational. The shells were thick, and the yolks were dark orange. The scrambled eggs looked like I added cheddar cheese to them. I should have taken pictures.

Pale yellow yolks compared to previous deep orange

I've been purchasing these eggs for the past year and most recently I have noticed the egg yolks are pale yellow in color as they used to be a dark orange. This leads me to believe that the chickens are not eating healthy food. The price has also increased from $4.98 to $5.22, still a good price overall but not if they are lacking nutrients. I will not purchase any for one month and then I will purchase some in December, if the yolk is still pale yellow I will no longer buy this product.

Suspicious Quality With Very PALE YOLKS

I buy Pasture Raised eggs because they usually provide a better quality product. When hens can get a variety of food from a natural outside environment, they produce better eggs. But these eggs had PALE YOLKS, and thin shells which is indicator that the hens are not being fed good quality food. I will not PAY EXTRA for in INFERIOR product.
