No Better Than Any Other Basic Egg Brand

Honestly if I hadn’t started raising my own chickens a few years ago, I may not have noticed a difference. I don’t know that these are actually “pasture raised”, they are the same as any other cheaper store bought egg. The shell was thin & the yolks pale, nothing like free range or what I’d consider “pasture raised” egg quality should be. If you know, you know! Worse than the “pasture raised” quality is the packaging... I had 4 broken eggs.

Waste of money

These eggs were a disaster from the start. The plastic carton is difficult to open, so I didn't check the eggs in the store. Big mistake. When we did open them at home,3 eggs that were hidden by the label were broken. It happens. But the rest of the eggs were so thin shelled that they shattered when trying to use them. We gave up and steamed the last 7 to make hard boiled eggs. All but one cracked upon cooking. Only 3 were able to be peeled without coming apart. These eggs were used at least 10 days before the expiration date. I am not a novice cook. Sam's should consider an alternate supplier.

Egg lover

When I first started buying these, the yolks were bright orange yellowish like they are supposed to be, but over the last 2 months, really since Easter 2024 and the increase in demand since then, I noticed most are light yellow now, which is a huge problem to me. That color let's me know I'm paying for the real deal and it's looking like I may go back to just Jumbo eggs. It was great while it lasted, no difference in taste really, at all in fact. The health factors may or may not depending on whatever tests may be done on these eggs, but the cost doesn't mean better eggs at all. Buy what you can afford in any case and eat lots of eggs!

Would not recommend.

Good value but the eggs smelled and didn't taste right. I threw them away.

Bargain

Great value! I only buy pasture raised eggs and usually pay $5-6 per dozen.

Cracked eggs

Usually fine. But online pick up and only 7 good eggs out of 18 weren’t cracked.

Waste of time and money

Waited an hour and a half for a cracked case of eggs, water, and butter
