[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer seems to be working great after the initial hiccup related to its shipping. After getting it all hooked up the first time and turning it on for a test run, water went everywhere - leaking from underneath. Ultimately, the problem was a broken plastic "air gap" (I think it was called). The part was broken during shipping. To the company's credit they responded quickly to get someone out to fix it. The part was not readily available so I had to wait about 10 days to actually get it fixed. The repairman said that it looked as though the piece may have broken when the delivery guy stuck the dolly under and a piece of Styrofoam packing pushed up into the drain hose and breaking the plastic piece. Maybe a design modification would prevent repeat occurrences. Aside from that frustration, the washer has worked very well.

I have had my Samsung appliances for over a year now and have to say I am NOT impressed. The laundry machine always goes in-even then wastes power and water trying to fill the tub over and over to balance the load. I will never buy Samsung appliances again.

Washes fairly well, but annoyingly you cannot turn off the electronic noises, you can turn off the horrible song it plays when the cycle finishes, but you cannot turn off the bleeps that set it, or the song that plays when you set it to go. The noises are loud and tinny, it annoys our dog and children, what a stupid design that you can't mute these.

Even showed the 3rd party installation guys how to use the calibration mode. Note: You need to use newest stacking kit SKK-8K if your stacking new washer with older dryer on top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a month ago and have never regretted the purchase. what a nice machine, the spin cycle is so fast that drying times have decreased considerably, thus less electricity used. Great investment

I purchased this washer 3 months ago and it was delivered 2 1/2 months ago. I paid for installation but it was not tested and I got no instructions on how to use. Fortunately, (I thought) I knew how to use a washing machine. I downloaded the full user manual (only a 'simple' manual with 1 1/2 pages of operating instructions was left with the product). After 2 1/2 months and a few phone calls with Samsung support, these are my comments: 1) There is NO way to select 'cold' water temperature for the complete wash cycle (wash and rinse). My clothes are steaming when I open the washer door. Apparently the washer has an automatic temperature control (ATC) designed to maintain water temp for best results. Never mind what results the consumer wants. I will work out a work-around but wish I didn't have to permanently disconnect the hot water hose in the event I do want to wash clothes in hot water. I am also a bit surprised in today's 'climate change' environment that the energy to heat up water has not been considered and an override allowed on this! 2) The washer resets to the factory default at the end of each cycle. So if you generally set and use the same settings (for example, Perm Press, cold water, 2 rinses, 2 spins, light soil), it will reset to Normal, med warm, 2 rinses, 4 spins, med soil and you have to set it AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN every time you use the washer. You will wear out the dial and control panel buttons re-selecting your settings!! 3) This machine is very loud -- especially the spin cycle. It sounds like it is going to take off. It does vibrate but doesn't 'walk' so that is a plus. 4) A neat feature is the self-clean cycle. What no one tells you is that it is nearly 4 hours long, so don't think you're going to do this between loads on laundry day! It locks you out. And as the manual did say, it uses only all hot water for the 4-hour self-clean. 5) The face buttons on the control panel are far too sensitive. I turned it off accidentally while reaching for hangers above to hang up clothes - a light touch by my arm on the power button. Otherwise, the washer washes clothes just fine. It seems to be a quality machine. Just wanting to share so you know what you are purchasing. I was happy with the price, the purchase process, the communication and delivery, and customer service overall. All 5 stars on those items. Just not thrilled with the lack of temperature control.

For the price I couldn’t complain and because it’s a newer version of the one I had before, it matches my dryer. So far so good, it gets ran multiple times a week with no indication of slowing down.

Giving it a big, fat 0 stars is the least it deserves. This appliance is a complete nightmare – it has the nerve to suck up water like there's no tomorrow, even after being diligently turned off. It's a colossal failure. I implore you, for the love of sanity, steer clear of this abomination of a washer. It consistently throws 0C or 4C errors in my face, playing the drama queen when there's absolutely nothing wrong with the plumbing. One of its sensors decided to take an early retirement, leaving me with a useless hunk of metal. Spare yourself the aggravation and avoid this infuriating excuse for a machine!

I bought this washer about 2 weeks ago and from the start it has been GREAT ! I love all the features, the quiet operating cycles and the large capacity to hold more clothes. The LED panel is very well designed and the sound made when a selection is made is quite nice. I like that I am in control of the washing instead of only having pre-set options. I have used the QUICK Wash on numerous occasions and it has saved me soo much time doing laundry. I like that I am saving water doing each wash cycle as the machine doesn't fill up and wash the clothes in a tub full of dirty water during washing. The washer is energy efficient and quite advanced. I like that I have an option to clean the washer using the SELF CLEAN feature which will keep it from mold, mildew and odors, this feature in itself is above the competition of other front load washers. Samsung really designed and produced a very well built, advanced complete washer in the 6000 Series. I am completely satisfied and enjoy doing the laundry which used to be a chore but no longer. GREAT JOB SAMSUNG !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer on Black Friday 2023. It was delivered mid December 2023. This washer is a tremendous value. Uses less water than top loaded Washers. The vibration is minimal. Would recommend this washer.
