Been installed now for 2 months and I just love it! It features much more freezer space than the French door fridge I had for a decade. Plus this has 2 ice makers.. one for crushed or normal block ice.. and it also makes ice balls perfect for anything on the rocks. The other benefit to the big ball ice is that it melts very slowly so it keeps drinks cold for hours. Max amount of ice balls made per day is between 3 and 6. The water filter is SO easily accessible and easy to replace! Big thumbs up! This fridge makes no noise while sitting there, but does make some noise when new ice balls are dropped or new ice is dropped into the crusher. A brief read through the manual allows you to easily learn how to operate all the options. The ice maker is easily turned on and off by pressing a button inside of the fridge so you can make sure if you leave town for long periods that the fridge doesn’t make ice to be wasted. I’m extremely happy with this buy!

We followed the instructions and replaced the filters several times, but the water tastes like medicine (chemical). It has been a year. Now we learned to throw away a half gallon of water every time and every day before the medicine-taste goes away! I think this is a common and known issue to similar LG refrigerators because we had the same experience with all LG refrigerators that we found in the airBnB rental homes.

The ice maker has 2 seperate compartments, one makes tennis ball sized ice that last a while in your drink and then standard sized ice cubes. I live that we never run out of ice. The stylish look adds beauty to my kitchen and I spend a lot of time in there cooking. I love the stainless steel and the front of the fridge lights up without opening the door for a quick glance to see if I'm out of milk easily. The motor runs quietly compared to my previous refrigerator brand. This refrigerator/freezer has so much space, it easily held all my products that was in a full size bottom freezer with space to spare. I'm delighted with our purchase. My sister and other guests love my new fridge also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this Nov 30.2021. This frig is a great fit for our kitchen. It has plenty of room for all of our cold foods and drinks. Its great for the grandkids, they can view the drinks without having to open the door. Very pleased with the performance of this product.

We have had our unit for about 2 years now and when it was originally delivered the door was damaged so a new unit was swapped out. Then we had some problems with the craft ice not working all the time. After 2 replacements we got it working. Now we woke up and it was totally dead. The freezer fan was shorted out which disabled the power supply, So the fan was replaced under warranty and it's working again. There are many useful features like craft ice and tap to turn on the light but I wonder just how many bells and whistles you really need. The fact it is connected to our network is great for checking out the unit and testing to make sure it is working properly. I really like it but I think the warranty should be reset if there is an issue until it can go a full year without any problems. I'm just saying if a company stands behind a product then it shouldn't be a problem and might just make it so products are built to a higher standard. I'm just saying!!!

I ‘ve had this fridge for a few weeks and it has some really nice features! I enjoy the bigger size (more storage!) and the water filter is in upper right corner of the fridge which makes it so easy to change. The craft ice maker is fun and my pups love to play with the round ice. The ‘peek in’ option makes it easy to check items inside without opening the door (ya have to love that when you live in the desert!). However, I wish it had adjustable shelves in both the fridge and freezer and more drawers. I like things organized and it’s hard to do that without moveable shelves; and it has 2 drawers in both fridge and freezer areas, another one in each area would be nice. Overall, I really like it. It is a beautiful addition to my kitchen.

It takes a long time to make ice initially, but now I have plenty of craft ice. It is just me and my husband, so I'm waiting to see if there's enough ice for a party.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this 3 weeks ago because my other basic fridge was slowly dying. I have never had such a fancy fridge. Love that you can knock on the door and see what is inside. It is well made and looks great in my kitchen. Was not sure about side by side doors but now I love it. There was a little ding in the door as soon as the guys that delivered it took it out of the box they came an told me. it is not that noticeable. The ice maker is awesome as well as the craft ice maker. It keeps everything cool. It is perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this refrigerator for about 2 years, the only Major Complaint is closing the refrigerator door. To close the door you literally have to reach around and pull the door closed. Because the door is so wide, It's really inconvenient and you make some serious fingerprints on the door. Then I noticed we were pulling the door shelves to close the door, this causes strain on the shelves. Our shelves started falling down breaking all our items and the shelf cracked. The design flaw is in the door if there was a little lip or pully on the door it would make a much better product!

I purchase this LG because my previous refrigerator was an LG, It lasted over 20 years and was still performing good. I replaced it because the doors wore out and would no longer close by themselves and seal properly.
