The door popping open and closing may be caused by air pressure (circulation of cold air) inside, which is a normal phenomenon. There is a passage where cold air moves between the freezer compartment and the refrigerator compartment. The refrigerator is 1.5 years old. The in-door ice maker has been replaced 2 times now because the motor malfunctioned. The craft ice maker has also been replaced once because it malfunctioned.
