She is a large German Shepherd and we had been buying her just regular dog food that wasn't specially made for large breed dogs. Until Iams sent us Iams Proactive Health Adult Large Breed. This dog food has a lot of great stuff in it made just for my Emma! It has vitamins, amino acids, and minerals to help her be the healthy German shepherd she can be! And to top it all off she loves it!! And my Emma June is a picky eatter! Worse than my two boys! But one thing for sure she is enjoying her new dog food. Thanks to Iams! And we will be using this dog food from here on out!! So if you have a large breed dog I strongly suggest giving Iams Proactive health Adult Large Breed a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As of today, my black lab mix has fully transitioned to Iams. I received a complimentary bag of Iams ProActive Health For Large Breeds dry dog food from Iams through BzzAgent. My dogs usually, if not always, have been eating wet dog food, so I was surprised that my large dog is loving this brand of dry dog food. We switched to wet dog food a few years ago because my dogs just one day decided not to like dry dog food. Prior to having Iams in his diet, my dog has always had a thick and shiny coat of black fur. I don't think Iams has any effect on his fur only after a few days of eating it, but so far, he still has his beautiful coat of fur. What I noticed is he has less shedding after I switched him to Iams. We were so used to seeing clumps of fur on the carpet, but now, we don't see those anymore. As for his digestion, it's still normal. He didn't have any runs or irregularities due to the change in his diet. And that is a major plus because my dog has a sensitive tummy, and gets the runs whenever he eats something different from usual. Overall, my family, especially my dog, loves Iams! I can't wait to see the long term benefits that Iams brings to my healthy dog.

I have a Siberian husky. His name is Riley. Riley is a very active dog. He is a very picky eater. He will only eat this dog food. He will also eat Fresh pet. He does not eat very much. However he will only eat Iams dog food! I am so glad he will eat some hard food otherwise his teeth would not be strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the bag of Iams ProActive Health Adult Large breed arrived, I brought the bag inside and placed it on the floor in the kitchen. I have a 13 year old English Bulldog and a 7 year old Bischon Frise. They immediately walked over to the bag and laid down beside it with their nose facing the bag. I had some things to do before I fed them but they waited right beside the bag until it was time. They both ran outside to where their bowls stay and paced around me while I filled their bowls. They did not hesitate once they started eating and neither of them stopped before they were finished. I was excited that they enjoyed the food. I have always bought Iams for my dogs and now that they are getting older, especially the bulldog, I am glad there is food made for them. I really like that the food is made from chicken and eggs. After feeding my dogs this food for a couple of weeks now, I can tell that my dogs really enjoy their food and I know that they are getting something healthy that maintains strong bones and helps with aching joints.

We had recently switched our dogs food to this and it turned out to be the worst decision possible. Within a week she had diarrhea and recently broke out into a severe case of itchy hives. Our dog is very healthy and has never had any problems. We know it’s this food because we didn’t change anything else.

High quality, great food for your dog! Our nearly 10 year old lab mix, Riley, has only consumed IAMS food her entire life. She has great teeth and keeps up with our 3 year old lab mix, Stella, no problem. She still can walk 5 miles(or more) has strong teeth and just such a healthy dog. I credit IAMS with her happy active life...thank you!

Also, they didn't seem to eat as much as they do the other brand I was feeding. Didn't go to the bathroom as much either.

We have been giving the Iams to him for the past week... He seem's to absolutely love it! He eats all of what I give him in his bowl three times a day.. Seem's to be absolutely happy with it! Our boxer loves this dog food and we love it too. He switched him from the Rachael rays to this about 8 months ago as it was not readily available at our local market. Since he has started eating this food he has been significantly less gassy and as soon as it's in the bowl he eats it right up. I do get a little concerned about the by product the ingredients contain but the fact hat he gobbles it right up we can't complain. :)

I have bought iams dog food for last 13yrs have bought large breed, small breed, adult and puppy iams all have been amazing highly recommend iams for your dogs, lots of t benefits support healthy digestive, joints strong bones muscles and more!! The ingredients and nutrition are excellent!! I have 2 bostons, German shorthair pointer, boxer age 10 1/2 vet said he is one healthiest, great hips, weight, body are best they seen he still acts puppy this is a big thanks to IAMS!!
