Our 4 year old male German Shepherd was very lean and we wanted him to bulk up, so we tried a variety of foods for him. High, Mid-range and low cost foods. When we got to the IAMS Active dog , blue striped, food he changed so dramatically. He bulked up to a good weight, his coat was incredibly more shiny and thicker too. He is a different dog. I had always figured that dog food is dog food but IAMS has shot that stupid thinking of mine down 100%. Thanks fo such a nice quality dog food for our three GSD's. Dave

i really like the iams brand ....it is such a reliable and great brand of dog food with high quality ingredients at an affordable price...we have 2 big german shepherds and they love the taste and texture of this dog food ...thanks so much for making a great dog food!!

I got to try this out with my dog, and to me it looked like a good dog food. Sadly, my dog was not interested in eating this food! No matter how hard I tried to get him to eat it, he just wasn't interested! There are some great ingredients in it though!

Now Drake is always happy to see whoever is carrying his food bowl, but yesterday he nearly knocked me off my feet in anticipation! He was so excited and could hardly contain himself! He really seems to have some extra pep in his step and very playful today.So happy to have received this free bag from Iams to try out, I think we have found a new dogfood!

I think they could smell the goodness from the outside of yhe bag. I always look at the ingredients, to make sure I sm feeding my four legged children the bestm. I also don't want to give them something that would upset their tummies. I am pleased with the iams brand and there ability to put dogs nutrition and wellness at a high priority. Both of my dogs loved the food, and being that they are both large breed dogs, we go through a lot of food. Thank you iams for the free sample, food scoop and keychain. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have to be on our third bag and Both dogs are still in love with Iams Proactive Health. What I love is their lack of gas after meals. What a relief. We are constantly on the search for dog food that does not give them gas and that they like. Not a simple combo. I like size of the kibble, it keeps her from wolfing the food down. I like the ingredients, I like that both dogs like the food. The food is available at our local pet store so we have not had to switch back and forth. Sonar so good we are sticking with Iams until further notice.

We have two dogs both over 75lbs so we tend to use a lot of dog food in our house and have tried several brands. I must say when we switched I wasn't expecting much but both dogs enjoyed it. Normally there is food leftover and we deal with them begging for table scraps. Both dogs finished their food and appeared to be satisfied. We also noticed they seemed to be less gassy since we switched.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I received my 15 lb Iams Pro active health large breed dog food the other day. I was so overly excited to try this with my 3 year old Siberian Husky, named Kaine. He has alot of energy and is well, crazy at times. I decided to give him a big bowl of this food and some water when we woke up. Sad to say, he turned his nose up at it! I found this very strange considering that his first year he ate Iams puppy. I think maybe the smell of it just didn't hit it off with Kaine. The food is just brown shaped pieces, all the same texture and flavor, which is chicken. My dog usually is not all that picky with food, but I'm gonna trick him next time and mix it into another bag! I'll let you know how that one goes!

However, when it is time to eat he always comes to see what is in his bowl sniffs and walks away. He waits to see if he will get leftovers then he will casually munch on his dog food. It takes forever for him to finish. Now, with the Iams he gobbles it up right when we put it in his bowl and has been every day since we got the food I am keeping my fingers crossed to see if this continues and we can say good bye to Mr. finicky!

It has helped him to be quite regular when it comes to going potty. He seems to stay full longer too. I definitely will be buying Iams® ProActive Health™ Adult Large Breed for my dog.
