My 2 black labs have never had anything but IAMS. Being they were both shelter dogs, I felt they needed the best nutrition they could get and the vet recommended IAMS. And because the price is right we feed it exclusively (and we go through a lot). Everyone comments on how shiny their coats are and how much energy they have. They are 6 & 7 years old now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wouldn't consider my dog a picky eater, especially considering the fact that I once caught him eating out my cats litter box. So I thought that he would gobble this food up super quick. This was not at all the case. Hank wanted nothing to do with this dry food. I thought of I mixed it with his wet he would eat it but he also turned his nose to this food. Once again my dog isn't picky but he really wouldn't touch this. The food he was getting before was also an Iams product so I'm not sure why he didn't like this particular kind. I even mixed some of his previous dry with the new dry and he didn't like it. I relented and let him go back to his original formula and he seems happy now.

My dogs gobble it up and look for more. Not because they're still hungry, but because it tasted good. They are running around a lot more lately even though it's still cold outside. One of my dogs had a skin problem on her foreleg that was red and her fur was gone. We tried medication and bandages, but she would just chew the bandage off and lick off the medicine. Even with a "lampshade" around her neck, her brother would chew off the bandage for her. Nothing was helping! I've been giving her Iams Proactive Health dog food for about a month now, and her leg has barely a hint of pink and her fur is coming back in nicely. Both dogs are getting shinier coats, too!

She eats it but not all in one sitting like usual with other iams blends or other foods. I love iams nutrition value and think it is great for our dog. we will keep feeding her it and she if this picks up and she likes it more. It is a graet source of nutrients which when she does eat it give her good energy. we will keep eating it and she if anything changes.

Betty Lou and Niño didn't go through a tradition period since they decided to rip the Bag open after I accidentally left it on the floor,while running An Errand! I'm always concerned with nutrients ,with IAMs I don't have to be . IAMs supplies a compleat balanced meal, that your dog will enjoy. They are on there second bag Of IAMs Pro Active, Betty Lou was just Diagnosed with Diabetes so We switched her to IAMs SoGood with no added Sugar. From now on We are all IAMs fans!

I gave her a small amount in her bowl and she loved it and wanted more. i gave her another serving and she ate it right up.. She loved it and I will give it again.. But I know that she loves it..

Our family has used Iams dog and cat foods for over 15yrs. Many yrs ago one of our vets recommended Iams saying it was high in protein as well as containing other better, healthier ingredients and had fewer fillers. He also commented that because of better ingredients, the dog and cat's fecal waste was in smaller amounts and the waste didn't smell as foul. We noticed these two bonuses immediately! Our pet's fur ALSO became VERY soft and shiny. The two cats I've had over the last 15 years have been SO soft to the touch like silk. I would positively recommend Iams dog and cat foods. I've only used the dry foods so I cannot vouch for the wet foods. You will not be disappointed in Iams pet foods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Iiams for over 25 years, unfortunately, I hate the price, but it has always been good for my dogs. Easy on the stomach, great coats, and less poo. I have tried cheaper foods, which have upset my dogs stomachs and the dyes end up staining my carpet. Our Golden Retriever has been on Iams since he was a puppy. It was what our breeder was feeding, so we just continued using it when we brought Tucker home at 8 weeks old. He was on the Iams large breed puppy formula up until he was 7 or 8 months old and then we switched him to this Iams adult large breed and he has done wonderfully on it. He has a shiny and soft coat, lots of energy, and he is at a perfect weight for his age. He also seems to like this food. He always cleans his bowl. We are huge Iams fans. Our 4 cats also eat Iams cat food and our 10-year-old German Shepherd also eats this Iams large breed formula. We will continue using this food for our dogs! We are actually going to be getting a new Golden Retriever puppy this coming winter from the same breeder we got Tucker from and he will also be on Iams!

My dogs are very very picky when it comes to their food. They love it and it helps keep them shiny and active. One older dog and one younger dog and it helps both of them. It meets my expectations and I dedintky recommend it and will continue to buy it.

Now Drake is always happy to see whoever is carrying his food bowl, but yesterday he nearly knocked me off my feet in anticipation! He was so excited and could hardly contain himself! He really seems to have some extra pep in his step and very playful today.So happy to have received this free bag from Iams to try out, I think we have found a new dogfood!
