[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dogs, a golden retriever, a great dane, and a black lab all normally eat the same food. However, when I tried this new food, they did not like it. I started mixing it in, the dane and the lab started eating all of it, but the golden just kept looking at me with a strange look on her face. She will not eat it, just leaves it in the dish and tries to eat around it. She never seemed picky before, but I guess she is. My other two dogs are OK with it now. I have given up on my golden. But the other two seem happy to get it now.

I got this a little while back and at 1st my dog didn't like it. But after giving it to her like a treat she now loves it. She had been on another dog food for a couple of years so it took a little bit but now that all she wants!! I so happy that this is healthier for her and is good tasting for her.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a trial bag of iams large breed dog food through a bzz campaign. When it arrived I was eager to try it. I have two dogs. One is a lab mix who weighs 98 lbs the other is a jindo that weighs 45. I fed it to the lab who ate a few pieces and left the rest. I later caught my jindo sneaking in and stealing the food out of the larger dogs bowl. After several tries my lab just doesn't seem to like it. My jindo on the other hand seems to think they are treats and will not stop taking them from my labs bowl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first day we got the free bag from Iams, Sydney rushed over and gobbled it right up. Unfortunately, since then, she will only eat it if we mix wet food or table scraps with it; otherwise it sits in the bowl for hours. The same thing used to happen when we fed her Iams in the past. I wish she would eat it happily, but it takes coercion. We never have a problem with the junky brands.

I love Iams dog food, I swear by it, whenever somebody asks me what to feed their dog I always recommend it. They have had the fewest recalls of any dog food I can think of off the top of my head. I know when my dogs eat I'm there safe, and it's affordable. Strongly recommend.

We started because he has a touchy tummy, but after discovering many of the benefits, which I will list below. Overall health: Iams complete nutrition keeps him healthy and active. While we have tried assorted Iams varieties over the years, we have settled in to the large breed variety as the larger 'kibble' is great for his teeth. He loves the taste. While we have tried multi varieties, he likes them all, and tolerates them all. Less 'waste'. Before I heard of Iams, I used to purchase budget or store brand dog foods. As a good dog owner, I pick up after my animals. Since Iams is complete nutrition, and no filler, there is much less dog waste to pick up. Overall....I love Iams, and Sid (the wonder dog) loves Iams.

Both of my dogs love thus product , sometimes I add a vegetable stock to give them treat . It would be nice if the recipes on the back of the bag of healthy things to add to the dog food. We love that the adult large dog works for both of our dogs !

Iams is one of the first brands we introduced to my dog when he was a puppy and it’s been one of the staples that we rotate through. We give this to him on its own, or we sometimes mix it with wet dog food or rice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is very picky about dry food. Ever since she was a puppy she would pull certain pieces out and leave them next to her bowl..(GSD). I poured her a bowl of Iams and watched her tear right into it and finish every piece of kibble. SHe Loves it! Thank you Iams for a tasty choice that I can buy from now on and not waste money on "will she or who't she like it" :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Saint Bernard named Sally, she absolutely loves the Iams Proactive Health dog food for large breeds. She always eats this food very eagerly and really seems to enjoy it. Iams is a brand I feel good about giving my dog and its a brand I trust. I like that the pieces of dog food are larger, I feel that they are the perfect size for Sally. I have nothing bad to say about this food, I feel like it provides complete nutrition for my dog and I will definitely look for this food next time I am out shopping!
