I have been a long time TurboTax user. This program is unnecessarily complicated, particularly with the print function. Next year I will purchase E-smart Tax.

my experience has been good in past. This year2025 I have had difficulties with the return. I need to contact someone there to review 2025 tax return as the IRS has notified me that there was an error in calculating my taxable Social Security.

very easy until I got to the print for mail in, (verses e-mail option), for federal and state. Just a bit of difficulty printing out and then returning to TurboTax for final close out.

I find TurboTax easy to work with... Other tax aids may be similar, but I have been using TurboTax longer than Intuit. But I do wish Oregon's DOR would work closer to the IRS on data format.

Had a problem downloading Turbotax. Called the service center and resolved the problem. Talked with Natonya and she solved my problem, She is a super employee.

Very straight forward to use. Love the very detailed and structured step-by-step guidance through completing the return. The "Help/Explanation" links at questions/topics is great and provide understandable examples as well.

The Capital Asset glitch that would not let me file was extremely frustrating. I've never dealt with digital assets and didn't click anything incorrectly, but added at least an hour to the process.

I am sure that Turbo miscalculated taxable income, because it treated a 1099-R as non-taxable. I couldn't override it to make it taxable! This is a known glitch and it's because Turbo uses it's own flawed worksheet to make this determination.

TurboTax has been my go-to tool for many years. The electronic form downloading and error checking features make it very easy to complete my returns.
