The Federal portion was fine as always. The updater for the state portion would not update, no matter how long I waited or how often I tried. Unsatisfactory.

We were disappointed in Turbo Tax adding fees to our return. We were going to file our UT state taxes electronically but kept getting fees added when trying to pay for it ($40 for paying for the $20 state fee).

Ask for use information for CA 540 form. Had to get to the internet to figure out what you were asking for. Also, the type size is small and difficult to read.

Many inefficiencies this year, repetitive questions. For instance why not ask overall for investments if any straddles, etc. If not done, if so can choose which ones it applies to. In prior years I would have given a 4 star rating.

Tool works great overall for us. Have used for many years now. The tool should ask for the ID.Me Pin while in final filing process, this would save resubmittals and frustration.

I do not understand why you need to keep up-dating the product. Is it not complete when you sell it? Also, the little extras like audit protection should be included in the initial cost.

The program was more "glitchy" this year than in years past. It took multiple tries to correct an error, search function didn't work like it used to and even "Help" was other users finding a work around. Disappointing

I started using Turbotax in 1996, if not earlier. It is easy to use, and covers all of my situations, which can be complex since I just retired, and is reasonably priced. The e-filing is wonderful.

the online turbo tax would not find my previous years info even though it was turbo tax and on same pc also cant use my old pc that has years of turbo tax returns on it

I only use it because I can import last year's info easily. If I find another way to import, that is cheaper and easy, I WILL. Also, paying an extra $25 dollars to file a State Return is in my mind obscene. Why does it cost so much?
