I've used TurboTax for years, and this is the first year that I had issues with your California tax. There were a couple of issues near the end that were rather annoying that you should have caught earlier.

TurboTax is very accurate. I can rely on it year after year. Occasionally, the software doesn't handle uncommon situations/forms very well, e.g. IRS 8606 form.

My daughter worked as a contract worker this year and received a 1099_NEC tax form. Program did not guide me through the steps to report her income correctly. It was very difficult to get through the inputs.

Generally good, except having to go back to prior returns to look up info, when they were done with TurboTax and were available on my computer in the same computer file

Need more flexibility to go to certain parts in step-by-step; it's easy to get caught up in a loop. Also, need to be able open any form I want. That's the way it use to be.

While I was satisfied overall with my experience with Turbo Tax this year, in reviewing my .pdf file I found a duplicate entry of some dividend information. I was surprised that Turbo Tax didn't catch that.

It looks like your guidance this year is not as good as in previous years. I had to spend more time looking for items that were better visible before.

The desktop version of Turbo Tax is great! The user interface is user frendly and easy to navigate. The Help Center is very helpfull. I have been using Turbo Tax for 26 years.

I e-file my Federal and mail my state return. I am not willing to pay the state to reduce their clerical workload. If it becomes free I will e-file state. This year TurboTax made it awkward to do this, it was simpler in the past.

Pretty easy filing usually. I did have to ask for help on the online help tool and it took me a bit to find the answer, but I did get the help that I needed and once again was able to file pretty easily.
