Excellent printer, I really love the eco system for ink. I will never buy another companies printer again as long as Epson keeps this inking system. I work with graphics and crafting, and I can make t-shirts and print pictures without using a lot of ink. The cost for refilling is fair also, especially for how much you get. The quality is great, the colors are bright. I have had no problems with the printer. I hope epson never changes this format or I will be highly disappointed.

I’m very happy with my ET-8550. It’s very easy to setup. Compact design. Print color is beautiful. I had a brand new Canon that gave me nothing but headaches. I have an Epson sublimation printer that I love too, so Epson is my brand from here on out.

Of the printers I looked at, this was the lowest price range, with significantly cheaper ink than the alternatives. I wasn't expecting great quality, but was hoping it was 'good enough'. The quality is amazing, better than anything I have ever had professionally printed, ink doesn't go down too fast & the connection apps are pretty good. I have only used matte paper, so can't say for glossy but would assume similar results. Vibrant colours, dark blacks. Cons: - have to disconect/reconnect from wifi sometimes, when this happens it will try to start printing from a queue of random stuff that has already been printed. On a calibrated screen, the you will need to raise the shadows, and magents will shift slightly more to the red side. Easy to work around after a few test prints.

We shopped and read a lot of reviews from different brands and chose this model for the eco tank feature. Setting up the printer and running the test went smoothly. Filling each color was very easy and no spillage. At this point we would never purchase a cartridge printer again! We want to be able to print photos for hanging around the house and this printer offered the best feature. Love the color LCD panel and being able to see the level of ink on all of the colors.

I am loving this printer! I love the amount of ink the tanks hold. I love the clarity of the print on fabric sheets, card stock, and regular paper. I love the different paper slots and size capability. The only thing I don't love? Seeing it for a lower price ... another $50 ... a few days after I finally decided to purchase it. :-/ It happens.

I bought this ET8550 printer for my wife. It appears like it was rebuilt or refurbished. Before putting ink in it, I saw signs of use and I looked at the dampers and they had some ink in them. The rubber hoses were marked with color markers to indicate which ink was for which damper. There was an ink pen line drawn across the ink tubing like it was marked to be placed in correctly. Before printing anything. I kept getting paper jam messages and still can’t hardly even get a print test for paper jams. The print head shoots to the left and then makes what sounds like stripping gears or a belt slipping. Then an error code comes up .00025 or something like that. It doesn’t act a bit like a new printer.

Wonderful printer and excellent customer service! I had trouble with the 1st machine shipped, and the service representatives were extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem and figuring out a solution. Now the printer is set up and I'm producing very good photographs. This is the step up in home photography I've been waiting for since digital cameras!

I have the ET-8550 for a month now and I am extremely impressed by the print quality and speed. I have used it with different paper sizes from 4x6 to 13x19 photo paper both glossy and Satin with excellent print quality even using the standard quality. This is the best printer I ever had and I highly recommend it.

Absolutely LOVE this printer! Took a bit to figure out some of it - like where exactly was tray 2 - but eventually figured it out. Since I print alot I really like the double sided printing as it saves on paper. It’s ot quiet but it’s not any louder than any other printer I’ve had. - I replaced my Brother laser with this one. The automatic openimg output tray was a surprise bonus but doesn’tclose unless you push the close button on the diplay which must be closed to load tray 2. Tray 2 doesn’t hold a lot of paper but it’s enough for me. I fill the tray every couple of weeks. Love the print quality too. Hope it stays working beautifully. Will only buy brand ink for this great printer to maintain it. Also like you can put larger paper in it too although I haven’t had an opportunity to try that out yet. Was well worth the investment!

I purchased this printer primarily for photo printing. Once I selected the correct paper and quality in the menu I was blown away by the quality. When you also consider the value of the ink and ease of filling, it was a no brainer. Looking forward to using this for a long time.
