I've been cleaning my carpets twice a year for many years, and this is the best, easiest-to-use machine I've ever found! The longer bristles really dig into the carpet, the low head that fits easily under furniture, the dry only setting, and the easy-to-assemble, easy-to-clean parts all make for a smooth and hassle-free cleaning experience. Shampooing carpets can be a real chore, and this machine makes it as easy as vacuuming! I especially love the easy operating process (no triggers, no settings, just push and pull). The one issue I have with the machine is the lever that releases the brush head cover. In a machine that is otherwise high-quality and stable, this piece is flimsy, the springs inside it constantly fall off, and it doesn't feel secure. This machine is too good and too high-quality to have such a cheap piece on it. I'd send it back to the design team to find a part worthy of an otherwise-great machine. Other than that though, definitely my number-one recommendation for carpet cleaning going forward.

We finally got a week of no rain so I could try the carpet cleaner. It worked great. Easy to set up, easy to use and easy to clean. It took a few swipes to get the hang of the auto dispensing of wet then to dry, but this old dog learned a new trick. The results were excellent. I wish the spot wand sprayed and did not just stream. Some of the spot were bigger and it took several tries to get it cleaned.

By far the best investment for my home so far i have to say I was doubtful that the smart wash would really clean my carpet but I was surprised how great the carpet came out the ease of use was just amazing .If your looking for a great machine that is easy and light weight to use you won't regret it a must buy for any house

This carpet cleaner does it all! If you have a pet you need to have this carpet cleaner. It will even handle your car upholstery, your couch, carpeted stairs, and upholstered chairs. I love how it deep cleans and gets the dirt out that has been there for years. It even pulls out dog hairs that are embedded in the carpet. On top of that, it dries quickly because it sucks up the solution on the way back.

I ordered this because I was raising a litter of cocker puppies and accidents happened....I've used many a Bissell machines (my old one broke) and after extensive research, decided to go with the smartwash pet complete. WOW ..This machine couldn't be easier to use and clean! It out performed my expectations by a mile. Everything they said it does....it does! My area rugs, carpets and runners look, feel and smell great. I couldn't believe the dirt in the tank, it was disgusting that it all came out of my carpets. I used the dry only function to go over the area's after washing them and within 2 hours were bone dry and very soft. They look brand new and NO stains of any kind remained on anything! Love the pre-stain wand! I certainly did not expect the results I got....It was almost too easy to use lol...I kinda feel guilty that I didn't have to spend all day slaving away cleaning my carpets! (NOT)... It really is just like vacuuming. Great JOB HOOVER...you did reall good making this machine! Now if you on the fence, get off it and get yourself one of these machines. You're going to appreciate how easy Hoover has made it to clean your carpets ! Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go clean some furniture, who would think cleaning would be so much fun!

I bought the new and improved model for my daughter. I loved the one I bought for myself over a year ago. Easy to use when my pets or granddaughters have an accident. My daughter even used it on my tile floor in the kitchen thinking it was a floor cleaner and it did a great job.

I am so glad I made the right purchase, after reviewing other scrubbers, this one is the very best. It is very easy to operate and I love the "Dry Only" button, my carpets have never dried this fast and it cleaned really great..I am a happy carpet scrubber person.

This is a really unfortunate situation I am in with this machine. It worked great at first but now , maybe 3 weeks later or LESS, it won't suck up any of the dirty water and the hose extension is a joke. It doesn't pick up ANY water at all. I've taken it apart, cleaned it, put it back together again and am overall disgusted with this product.

I absolutely love this carpet cleaner.ive had several and I didn't get a clean as good as this one. Incredibly easy to use and clean. Takes about 5 minutes to clean up. It runs just like a vaccum cleaner. Suction is great. I have 2 small pups and my house doesn't smell like it thanks to my carpet cleaner. Well worth it.
