[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my son had purchased this carpet cleaner and I borrowed it to clean our carpets. I was so very impressed with the job this carpet cleaner did, I quickly decided that I had to purchase one for myself. This is one of the best investments I've ever made. My carpets stay clean, always because of this machine. Buy one, and you'll be glad you did.

I've received so many e-mails telling me to review this product. It's wild. Anyway it works pretty well. We've been impressed. Way more work than I imagined to thoroughly clean the device after use, and be mindful of using the dry only feature to get things truly dry.

I have 2 large senior dogs who struggle with making it outside on time. After our Bissell SpotBot started leaking water after 4 years of heavy use, I decided to upgrade to a heavier duty carpet cleaner and opted for the Hoover SmartWash Pet. To test it out, I decided to clean the entire first floor carpets. My carpets are light gray and didn't look dirty but the amount of dirt and fur (even after vacuuming!) that this thing picked up was insane! I wasn't aware how dingy my carpets were until after I finished cleaning. They are much brighter now. After I was done, the SmartWash was very easy to clean itself and set aside to dry. I have no doubt that it will be great at spot treating accidents and will be a lot faster than waiting for the SpotBot to do it for me.

I had an older version of this machine and bought this new one. Fabulous job on my rugs and very much worth the expense compared to paying for someone to come in and clean rugs. Pays itself off in one use! My only criticism is difficulty filling the spot chaser tank on handle--takes forever since doesn't open like main soap tank. Regardless, fabulous purchase and highly recommend!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2nd one purchased, first one needs repair roller brushes are not rotating anymore cleaned off both of them and still not rotating purchased maybe 3-4 years ago. If this happens again probably will look elsewhere for another. Otherwise it's amazing very happy with it except for that one problem.

I reviewed this under Bells10 about a month ago and wanted to add that with great trepidation I decided to clean my handmade wool and silk blend carpets. I did them on the garage floor. They are absolutely clean and beautiful. No damage occurred. It does take several days to dry depending on the density of fibers. I even did the fringe. The brushes are soft enough to not cause any harm.

I loved it! The spot chaser compartment could be a little bigger, you have to refill it frequently. The carper cleaner is a life changer! Loved it! I am so glad it has the button of drying only, because you have to do it very slowly to remove more water and don´t let the carper soaked with water.

I used this to clean my carpets in my apartment that were over due for cleaning my old Hoover spin brush cleaner was really good just couldn't get parts any more this system is just as good cleaned my really dirty carpets to new like condition only reason for four stars is the spot wand sprayer doesn't work very well wants to spit and sputter a lot not a steady stream otherwise it's a great system

My mother always said that Hoover had the best products. I agree. This Smart Wash Pet Complete Automatic Carpet cleaner is superior. I had another Hoover carpet cleaner for over seventeen years, and still working. But it was heavy and difficult to clean. This one is lightweight and easy to move. It has ample reservoir for water and solution, the other didn't and I had to keep refilling. Cleaning is a breeze. I love it. It was fun to clean the carpets. I definitely recommend this product to everyone. It's quiet too,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old one was finally falling apart after 10 years so I just picked this one up. Used it once so far but it worked great. Cleaning the dog fur out afterwards was very easy as my old one was terrible to clean out after each use. Hopefully this one lasts 10 years as well!
