Early in February, the "Education" update was added. However, it did not acknowledge that it was not complete and erroneously had us owing thousands in taxes. I understand updates take time, but it is better to say "update coming soon" then to imply the update is current and correst. I now wonder if, in the past, I have paid to much in taxes because I was unaware the TurboTax was not complete.

I found it difficult to erase mistakes. I inadvertently added my 1099 for secretarial work (covered separately) into the line that asked for the same but into my wife's online book business. I could erase the amount but the program continued to ascribe it as an error and highlighted the box as such.

This year was challenging for the download of the app with all of your request for add on services. it makes me want to shop other options for business and home tax filing. I just want to download the software and do my taxes.Please make next year easier.

I find Turbo Tax easy to use. I like the options to walk through everything or choose what to work on, which is easy if you just want to double-check something you've entered. The explanation of categories with samples of what is allowable is very helpful. Although I gave a 5-star rating, I found the requests for information on the state portion to be a bit confusing than last or previous years. I'm not sure if that is something requested by the state or something TurboTax changed. The filing of the returns was fast and efficient and the options of payment, etc., are convenient.

We have been TurboTax customers for several years. We find the services relatively straightforward and easy to use. If there are any concerns it is when you try to re-visit a particular area and want to update it. There are times when it is not entirely clear how to proceed.

THIS IS THE VERY FIRST TIME I AM VERY LIKELY WILL "NOT" BUY NEXT YEAR AND WITH SOMEONE ELSE. WHEN I DID ASKED A QUESTION THE ANSWERS WERE UNRELATED TO THE QUESTION, NO HELP AT ALL. GOOD LUCK?

Generally good. I've been using it for years. But one issue is still murky - the entry of the IP PIN numbers. It should be clearer that if one needs to (has to) enter the IRS's IP PIN codes, it has to be done differently than in the 5-digit passcode fields. It's a shame that that (actually critical) detail, which caused rejection of the forms is not handled better.

I transferred from a Microsoft 10 platform to an Apple Mac a few months prior to starting tax return. Had a terrible time. I had to resurrect the old PC, go through all f the Microsoft updates I missed in order to download the data file. Mac had trouble with he software and it took hours to get the program to run on it. The revised program might be written for new customers. It is difficult to get into sections for changes without a lot of hassle. Was continually annoyed by nagging to buy the $60 help package... If I had known what a pain it was going to be, I would be hesitant to purchase it. Previous editions were much easier to operate and carry over previous years data. Hope you improve next year. I will peruse reviews first before buying again.

Worked great for me. There was a problem where I had to manually enter Royalty info on Schedule that I thought I had already entered. It was flagged during the Fed review at the end. It did create problems for me in that I had to buy another computer in order to run Windows 11!

Buying the desktop software was a mistake, since when you call for support they cannot see your desktop screen. This is a major deficiency in the program. In the future I will buy the online version of software. After calling support, I was placed on hold for several hours after being referred to another support person who was a big help.
