It forced several errors on me this year. Would not let me take home office deduction because "my business income was zero", but it was not zero! $25 to e-file a state return is too much! I pay a premium price even at my club store. Asking me to correspond offline and change my review? No! Bullies do their stuff in private. You asked.

Overall, I still like the program and think it is very good. The help and ability to flag topics is very useful. There are a few changes I did not like: 1) The W2, Interest, and Dividend inputs were very difficult if you did not import the information, 2) When importing a Consolidated 1099 all sales were imported individually, rather than by section, even though there were not adjustments, 3) Would be nice to be able to skip Medical Expenses, 4) The NYS 2-year summary is no longer available.

the turbo tax is just so, so, so many problems with it, I cannot file e file extension on 4/15 and IRS is on my back about the tax, cause there will be penalty n much more payment involved. good that you have Martha to help when I call for a big problem, errors constantly towards the review; She was very pleasant and resolve the problems and issue, plus walk me through . Martha was so helpful that I will consider using the live experts help next time

I have used Turbo Tax Home and Business edition for many year now and it keeps getting better and better! Easy to use directions and I love the step by step guides and pick up where you left off option. I do have one small complaint with filing my state taxes when trying to go through the Turbo Tax website to check out. It has bounced back two years in a row and I have to print out and mail my return.

Always good experience working with TT. However, Steve (TT-Expert) help me the most. Great expertise and very much likeable answering all my questions. He even took time to send me possible tax option based on my Forex trading fillings. I very much appreciated his help and would love to work with him in the future if the option is available.

The interview on foreign tax credit is weak. It should define foreign income sources and give an example of how to handle foreign taxes paid by a taxpayer with three or four foreign stocks and RICs which paid dividends exceeding $600. I ended up doing it by hand.

Brittany saved my life and my wallet! it was a rocky start in the beginning because the call kept disconnecting but when we finally got connected, she helped me through to amend my return. I had not done it correctly. after she helped me fix the return, it showed i actually gained money instead of owed! she was so patient with me and guided me step by step and explained where my mistake was and together we fixed it!!! i hope Brittany stays with turbo tax in the future cause she is awesome and her assistance is superior!!! your the best Britt!!!!

Always reliable, whether using online or the desktop version. Incredibly easy interface, prompting questions are always relavent and accurate to my tax situation. Mac compatible, too! Love the new AI generated fetures and the reporting options. Thanks as always!!

Overall, no problems with filing my taxes (Feds plus MO and CO). My disappointment is in your payment process. I paid for Audit Defense, one additional State and then $20 to e-file each state. First, recommend you just bake in the price to e-file for the states. Feds are free. You offer one state to create the return for free. When I bought the second state, HIGHLY recommend you allow the user to e-file for each state that is either offered or purchased. Don't be like the airlines for baggage...just make it part of your service. Second, when I did have to pay for these three services, I had to fill out the EXACT same screens as though TT didn't know who I was (i.e. name, address, billing address, credit card info)--again, THREE times! I found it maddening that even after "Saving my Payment info to my account"; your system didn't have a PoP-up to ask "Do you want to use the saved credit card from your account?". Bottomline: what is the purpose of having to sign into your TT account if your payment system doesn't use any of the information from the account? Thanks for listening. I've used TT several years, and someone really needs to go through the program carefully. I am a computer expert, and I can see numerous places where info is left out. I realize you want to make money having an expert help with taxes, but clarity is important for those of us who can do it.
