My family loves Turbo Tax. Some of us need the Home & Business version and some just need the free online version, but there is a perfect option for everyone.

I have a dependent that files just a basic return. I wish I was able to file with this program but I have to get a ez form one seperate I would pay a few dollars more to have that option.

Easy to do software. Takes you step by step where you don't miss a thing. Very Trustworthy Company and software. Wish is wasn't that expensive for the Home & Office software though.

It didn't prompt me to fill in farmland property taxes or fil out forms W-RA and FC-A, which I have filled out in the past. disappointing - should be recognizing what I have done previously to help make this years easier.

suggest that reporting accrued interest be a more direct question at places that amount onto the appropriate line and deducts it from payable non-taxable interest.

It was a detailed and somewhat tedious process but all was pretty self explanatory although I did not understand one section of the return but a quick phone call you the help desk got me right back on track.

What is annoying is that every year there are 5-6 mistakes I have to correct and have no idea how to do so. I end up having to go online and ask strangers how to fix.

I have used turbotax for many years. I appreciate the software so I can accurately submit my forms to the IRS. The UI is great and all latest tax changes are asked upfront so I do not need to worry about issues in my return. I highly recommend!

Actually 4 1/2 stars. The drawbacks were with investments. The limit of 2500 transactions meant I had to print out a 235 page 1099 and mail it in. Also, details from K-1 forms don't transfer well

Turbotax just informed me that we can only file five returns with our purchase. We had planned for file for two more relatives as a courtesy. It's unclear if we have to buy another copy of the software or how we will resolve this.
