built to last

I've had this playground for at least 5 years. It's in great shape. I used to run a preschool out of my home, so it saw a lot of use. Even our teenage friends have had fun on it. Follow the directions exactly while building it. Its time consuming, but doable.

Great Swingset!

I chose this swing set because the price was right and the quality is good. I had been looking at vinyl swing sets for a few years, but could never bring myself to pay the ridiculous prices. I finally found this one and bought it in May for my 41/2 year old son. He loves it. Kids of all ages have already played on it, including two in their early teens, and I like to swing on it from time to time. I do think the swing bar needs to be a bit longer to comfortably fit 3 positions.

Easy to build...Kids love it!

I bought two swing sets. It took myself and one other person to build both sets about two days. Kids love it, very durable and well built. Only one problem occurred during assembly. The screws provided to assemble to rock climbing tower and roof were not manufactured correctly. The cross head was too small for a drill bit to grab and then sink the screw into the swing frame. I had to run down to hardware store and buy self-drilling sheet metal screws to finish the job. Other than the one problem, the instructions were very easy to follow and no missing parts. I love it!!

Assembling Swing set #90797

We recently purchased a double slide swing set #90797 for our grandchildren and overall we (and they) are very pleased. Two strong recommendations I would make to Lifetime are to label the major poles with the part numbers so they can be readily identified, and to more clearly specify in the directions which way the parts should be oriented during assembly. One step which caused us a particular problem were the upright support poles for the playhouse. They must be assembled with the two small tapping screw holes facing each other. It is easy to assemble them facing the wrong direction because the directions are not clear. We caught the mistake after assembling the deck and realized the parts would not align. We had to detach and reattach them. We do recommend this set, but suggest that Lifetime make these two corrections.

Great Playset

Just got through putting this together. It is an awesome high quality set. Unfortunate the directions are horribly illustrated and not a single piece is numbered save for the hardware. The instructions issue has been addressed In many other reviews so I knew it going in, but I think they could be THAT bad. They were. Lifetime, you make a high quality product. Please make high quality instructions for your customers and spend the extra dollar a set to put a sticker on each part

Very well designed and built

Pros:Durable,Attractive Design,Sturdy,Easy Assembly Describe Yourself:First Time Parent,Working Parent Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. The instructions were quite well written which is a nice change compared to what we're all used to when assembling things. Yesterday, three of us spent 7 hours assembling this very well built play set. It is sturdy and solid. It is clear the designers intended to build a quality product.

Durable

I bought this set over 6 years ago. I live in a very dirty windy area and it has held up so well through winter storms and rain, sprinklers, rough kids, dogs, and dirt! It has been so much fun for my kids and so entertaining. Great set! Very well built!

5 years is about all you’ll get before you have to replace swings, roof and other parts.

I bought this top of the line Lifetime swing set approximately 5 years ago. And even though I do believe it a superior product, within approx 3 years it started to rust and the plastic on the roof begin to crack. It was also severely sun bleached within first 2 years. I live in California. We don’t have a lot of rain or extreme weather conditions. I love the swing set and my kids love it, I just wish it would have lasted longer. I’m thinking of replacing it entirely with a brand new lifetime and put it under a awning.

Awesome fun

I'm so pleased I gave this gift to my grand kids!  Tho  I think their parent think its a gift to them reason the kids spend all home time on it playing. We had a construction friend install and he was amazed at the quality. Best design to allow lots of play mates. Everything is there to provide hours of fun resulting in calm indoor children!

Keeps the grandkids outside

There is never a visit from the grandchildren when they don't go out and play on the swingset. They range in age from 6-14 years old and all still love to hang out in the backyard on the playset. It gets them outside and active. Can't ask for anything more.
