I thought assembling the playset will only take me at least 2 hours but I was wrong. It take me about 4 hours. I assemble the playset all by myself so maybe that it reason why it take longer than I expect. Once the playset it done, my daughter start to play on the playset. The only thing I would like to have to extra swing to replace the baby swing which my daughter doe not need to use.

With five kids of ages it is great to have a product that can stand the test of time and still look just as great as the day we bought it. Even the swings are in excellent condition

I bought this for my daughter one year ago. Given that small amount of time, I am disappointed that the rubber on the chains are extremely sticky. I even took the swings down during for two months during the hot summer, but they still became damaged. It is impossible to wash away the stickiness! Also the slide is extremely flimsy. My daughter is only 35 lbs and it still bounces as she slides down it. Another kiddo, about 75 lbs left a white mark on the slide after going down, where it bended. The slide NEEDS to be redesigned. Other than that it is a well made set and I am happy with it so far.

Like the other reviewers, we are very happy with the stability and fun features of this swing set. I would have given it five stars, except that the slide gets way too hot. The instructions recommend not facing the slide to the south. Based on the layout of our yard and pool, the only way we can set up this swing set without having our kids slide into a fence is to face south or southwest. We opted for southwest and the slide gets REALLY hot. I don't know if repositioning the slide to the north would help or not, but you may want to consider this if, like us, you don't really have a good place in your yard to face north. I do question, however, if pointing the slide north would be enough to keep the slide cool. We doused ours with water so the kids could play on it (it does make a great water slide). Within 10 minutes after turning off the water, the slide was too hot for the kids to slide down on again. None of the other equipment on the swing set gets as hot as the slide. I really wish the slide had been made with a different material so that it didn't get so hot. Other than that, the swing set is great.

the set itself is of good quality, nothing special. the plastic holds its color without fading. the rock wall portion is cheaply molded, and has lots of cracks in it. the rubber on the swings themselves, particularly the part covering the chain deteriorates and sticks to hands and clothes..and i'm not talking a little bit. it is impossible to wash off, and is only comparable to letting children play with rubber cement glue, that doesn't ever fully dry and is harder to wash off. my kids haven't touched the swings themselves for over two years, because "they are gross". i have to spend $100 to replace the three swings with a different brand...because i don't want replacements.

I bought this set last December for my two young kids ages 5 and 8. We live in a hot humid climate in Houston Texas and this set has lasted almost a full year beautifully. No rusting, no sticky swing handles. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. Very well made. Very sturdy. We have adults and kids on this set regularly.

Bought this play set for a small private school - several of us Dads put it together in a morning. For the price, the quality is right there. The kit and instructions are extremely well laid out. Follow the instructions exactly, and everything comes out just right!

Took my husband and I about 3 days to put together, working a few hours each day. We are in our 30’s and nothing in the process was too heavy or hard to do. At first we couldn’t find the manual so we used an app called BILT which walked us step by step and made everything soooo easy. We eventually found the manual in box 6. We did switch out 2 of the belt swings for different types, which the picture shows. We added fairy lights as well. If you have the time, an extra person, music, and refreshing drinks, you will enjoy putting this playset together, at least we did.

"Lifetime" is a good name for this product line, because that is about how much time you will need to assemble it. Boxes are stamped "Made in China", and the instructions might as well be printed in Chinese as well. Make sure to buy order a crystal ball and hire a structural engineer to help you assemble it. You will need to infer many things on your own when you start to decipher the ream of paper that are the instructions. I am 49 years old, consider myself VERY mechanically inclined, and it took me and another experienced person over 12 hours to assemble this unit. I have put together dozens upon dozens of items together as a homeowner, and thought i'd seen it all....until now. I knew we were in trouble when we opened the boxes to find a tap for re-tapping threads included with the hardware, like it was just a normal part of the process. A tap ? Really ? C'mon....WHO DOES THAT ?? Just send out the problem, and the tools to fix it to the customer ? Seriously ? Extra hardware is also in many of the bags....just enough to make you wonder if you forgot something. Fortunately, we counted everything out BEFORE assembling each section, and immediately seen their were extra washers, nuts, plastic plugs, etc. Apparently, someone at the factory just isn't interested in doing their job to count the hardware accurately. Unit is very sturdy after assembled, and for that, i'm giving it two stars. A few of the bolt holes didn't line up on the roof, and climbing wall, but we were able to "muscle" them together and drive screws in at angles. Again though....the most horrific instructions i've ever seen. It would have been better if I had none at all.

The playset is amazing! It takes some time to assemble it, but the directions are thorough and the nuts/bolts/etc are on sealed cardboard labeled extremely well! There are two aspects I think could use improvement.....the slide at the monkey bars could use two-sided handles to help the kids pull themselves up the top steps to the slide; and the other is when a child climbs up the “rock wall” from the outside, it’s a big gap to reach across to the platform. Although I’d like to see these two items addressed, neither are reasons to not get this playset!! It’s fabulous and so sturdy!! We have 7 grandchildren ages 9 to 2.....they love it!
