Several missing pieces/hardware, some things were even mislabeled. The final product is nice but it was a pain to build.

Horrible product. Predrilled holes were off. Wood pieces cracked when drilled. Pain in the butt to build. Would not buy this playhouse again if I had the option.

While this is a great swing set, it was very difficult to put together. Even with 4 grown men. They noted multiple flaws in the directions and spent hours on one of the steps trying to figure out what was wrong. It was an error in one of the diagrams. It showed the wood being one way, but the way it needed to be was completely opposite. A few flaws/dings upon arrival but I overlooked it because I know the company has no control over shipping. In conclusion, I think it’s a great swingset and my 3 year old daughter absolutely loves it. Do I think the directions need to be amended for proper assembly? Yes! Do I think the quality could be better? Yes! I do not see this swingset lasting us for years and years, but my daughter will definitely get good use out of it.

The swingset is great and the kids love it! Assembly was pretty straightforward. However, shipping was a different story altogether. After f until a shipment the swingset arrived in Jacksonville, which is only 70 miles from me. It sat there for 11 days with no update and was 6 days past the expected delivery date. In that time the swingset had dropped in price and was $300 cheaper as well. After multiple phone calls to the shipping company and being told it would be delivered on the 23rd of December I contacted Sam’s Club customer service. An independent contractor was finally contacted to pick up and deliver my merchandise. Maybe Sam’s should consider a different carrier.

My granddaughter loves the play set. Whenever she visits, she spends a good amount of time playing on and around the play set. It takes a while to assemble but is not too difficult. The tunnel slide will test your patience if assembling on your own. Probably need a helping hand with that. The materials are of good quality so I expect this play set to last many years.

The step by step was so easy to follow that I was able to put together about 50% of this by myself without my husband while he was working. We inventoried all the pieces like the instructions mentioned and having each separate piece in its own pile according to its number made assembly very efficient and easy. It took us two days total and was very manageable. We really love the end result. It’s medium sized but doesn’t overpower our very small yard and has enough options to keep all 3 of our young children entertained for hours.

After extensive research, we decided on the Laurel Retreat Set for our 3 year old grandson. The delivery was on time and respectfully placed in the driveway. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the detail of the assembly instructions. I'm pushing 70 and was able to assemble it without help (not recommended) in a couple days. You definitely need a 1/4" impact driver and drill! I made a couple mistakes (easily corrected) by accidentally "jumping ahead" and the finished product looks amazing! My grandson LOVES it and the family applauds KidKraft for the stability and safety features built in to this set. He should be able to enjoy it for years to come.

Really nice play set. Our 2 and 3 year grandchildren love it. I looked over the instructions once before tackling it. When we started I instructed my son in law what to do while I prepared for the next step each step. We had it finished in 11 hours instead of 18. I think it will be a good investment.

The kids are obsessed with being in the backyard now! This was easy to build and all the parts lined up nicely. We took it slow and built it over 3 days. I would say it took about 20 hours of work total or less between my very handy wife and I.

This Swing set is made so well and was easy to assemble. My grand children have their own theme park in the back yard!!! They are over the moon with delight!
