It’s well made and, following the instructions, was straightforward to build. My backyard is now filled with adventures and my kids are using their imaginations and having a blast. I’m so happy to have this for them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a new playset for our kids and we couldn’t be any happier with the KidKraft Laurel Retreat Swing Set! The swing set comes with all the fun things that any kids would enjoy. There’s a wooden ladder, metal ladder, climbing wall, 2 slides, 2 swings and fun play pretend cooking area underneath. The swing set came in 3 separate boxes that included all of the pieces that require installation. It took us the majority of a Saturday to get it all done. There’s alot of pieces to put together and plenty of screws and bolts to tighten. We read through the instructions before installing and made a system of placing all of the same pieces together for easier access when installing. The 2 swings are definitely sturdy enough when our 8year old and 6year old were swinging at the same time. However we did secure the swing set into the ground with the provided supports. The swing set looks absolutely great in the backyard. The best part is watching our kids play outside with their friends and see their imaginations run wild. We truly couldn’t be any happier with the Laurel swing set!

It took us a weekend to put together working on in a few hours each day. None of the parts or pieces were missing. The whole structure is definitely sturdy once together. It's also a pretty large swing set with many options for the kids. My favorite is the kitchen at the ground level:) This swing set is perfect for kids who love to play outside and enjoy being active. It’s made of high-quality materials that are designed to last outside in the elements.

I was not looking forward to the process of building it, but honestly KidKraft did a great job at making the instructions easy to understand and the pieces are well labeled. It did not take me long to build this and I only needed minimal help from my partner. Our kids love this swing set, the spiral slide is a bunch of fun. The materials are high quality and I expect this swing set will last for a very long time. I can not recommend this enough!

While it took my partner and I quite a while to put it together, it wasn’t difficult by any means. My kids are kindergarten-aged and love the variety of options on this set. There are lots of ways to play on it. We haven’t had any issues with splinters or the weather ruining it. It seems really sturdy. This is such a great company and we feel comfortable recommending them to our friends and family.

We had the help of three adults to put it together. It took us about 4 hours to get it assembled and the directions were precise and easy to follow. The kids love the rock wall and the large enclosed slide. The fireman pole is a fun climbing obstacle as well. The hardware and fixtures are well built and will last for years. Our kids have been more active and using more imagination while playing outdoors on this swing set over the past few weeks. We would recommend this KidKraft swing set to others.

Assembly was time consuming but not overly complicated or confusing. I do recommend giving yourself a full weekend for construction, it's big and does take time but is totally worth it. This has made a great addition to our backyard and inspired imagination and creativity. I definitely recommend it.
