The old Garmin was easier to use and you could download other voices and cars to use. The newer GPS has lost the personalization aspect that made me want to use Garmin.

Bought it for my husband for Christmas and he couldn’t even Register it. We live in separate states for a little bit of time and I was very disappointed to have to bring it home and return it. It shouldn’t be that difficult

still investigating how to use. looking to find voice commands to set up a trip? it may not support voice commands to the device. manual entry works and isn't confusing

I bought this to replace another Garmin gps. It is the right size and easy to use. Only used it a couple of times, but it seems to be working well so far.

Garmin 53 is advertise to be use with car and truck but, does not have the correct information truck routes, roads to avoid or streets not suited for trucks. May be a good fit for cars not for trucks!

A great GPS but just wait for the updated maps when you need them. This device does not give you Life time maps or LTM, and yes this is important, as they get pricey.

I bought this unit for my Slingshot and it works great!! The screen is small but I know that going in. My only complaint is I can not get rid of all the side information which would make the map larger

I Bought this to update from my nuvi 2539 as the windshield no longer functioned. I am pleased with the features and how this unit works now that I have figured out navigating the menu choices

Sorry, I have not had a chance to review yet; therefore, I cannot give a fair review. However, my Nuvi was great, and I am sure the the Drive 53 will be great also. I have had good luck with Garmin products. I also have a Garmin gold watch.

I use this on my motorcycle - the only thing I haven't figured out is how to use it while wearing gloves. My old GPS worked with gloves which was convenient.
