I bought this to replace my old Tom-Tom whose battery was dead and didn’t have enough space to upgrade the maps. The only thing that I wish that it had was the mileage to the destination displayed

Our phones did way better. It got us where we needed yo go but our phones did way better. this really lacked on telling us of traffic delays and lane closures. My old Garmin Nuvi did better.

Just received today and instructions are so poor I can't it to get off Mami Florida ads my Home loaction. Followed Garmins instructions and Nada. Im going to have to call them just to figure out to use it.

Nice unit, but the screen is a bit small not allowing for some info I was used to having. The clock is only am/pm, I am used to the 24-hour clock! Overall, I recommend it!

Notices are more informative. Interface seems less intuitive than our old NUVI 2555. Volume at MAX is less than our previous model which was easy to hear above the radio. This one has weaker volume.

The Garmin Drive 53 is so easy to use and a 'must have' for me. I have used a Garmin device for several years and relied on it for accurate information.

I purchased a little over a month ago and I'm starting to get the hang of it. There is a lot to review on the Garmin web sites, but slowly I'm getting the hang of it.

I have had several Tom Tom's in the past they never performed as well as This Garmin 53, Right out of the box I could tell it was a much better unit. I downloaded all the updates then took a 650-mile trip next day and it preformed flawless.

I bought this a few weeks ago, but even when unit is fully charged, the battery life is very short. This new unit isn't any better than the pre-owned I have bought before. Dissappointed!

I purchased this Garmin for a trip I'm on now. Travel is fine. I'm a little slow at entering new addresses and can be frustrating as I'm guessing how to enter every time, I need more training (:
