I use a lot of baking soda because I use it with white vinegar to wash fruits & vegetables. It does a great job because my water is usually tan in color which hopefully means that dirt & other impurities have been washed off. I then rinse fruits & vegetables again in clear water then lay out on paper towels & towel to dry before bagging for use.

While this product seems to be working very well, I have one major complaint. It was part of a multi item order and was shipped in the same package as the Famous Amous cookies. This 13 pound product crushed many of the cookies. I would think a professional shipping company would have guidelines of what should not be packaged together. If I had the time, I would have brought the cookies back to the warehouse but I didn’t. I am just going to limit my online shopping going forward.

Baking Soda is a necessity for any home. Versatility: with so many uses around the house, plus with zero aluminum it's a perfect substitute in the kitchen for any recipe that calls for Baking Powder (since most power contains aluminum which can have unhealthy side effects). Just don't use more than the recipe calls for. For other uses, read the label or look it up on line.

We are on our second bag of this size. We use this to get the film from milk off bottles, stuck on stuff off pans, grease stains out of clothes, clean out kitchen sink, add to baths to reduce itching, remove orders from the fridge or diaper pale and so many more. This is a household staple. My husband knows that if he asks me what to use on something in the house I am probably going to say this or vinegar. We get the giant bag and then put it in smaller containers.

This product has so many uses. And my previous residence, I had an inground pool and used the baking soda to help as a chemical balance. Now that I live in a filler, or utilize baking soda to neutralize dog urine in an area that my pet uses all the time.

I love this stuff! I use it for everything. It's great in everything from laundry to litter boxes. I bought a fee gallons of vinegar and these 2 are an unstoppable cleaning combo. Great for stove grease, shower scum, toilet and even stained in your carpet!

This is a huge bag and a good value buying it in bulk. I like to mix baking soda in the kitchen sink along with some vinegar - to clean the sink and get a fresh smell to eliminate the garbage odor around the garbage disposal. I share half of the bag (pour it in a gallon size zip lock bag) with a friend who does not have a garbage disposal - he too gets the awful sink odor and this fixes that problem. I use about a half cup each of baking soda & vinegar. You can repeat if necessary until the bad sink odor is gone.

Nice to be able to buy this in bulk. Use it in Landry, with a diy scented vingar/water mixture. Put 2 cups full into a jar and add essential oils to it, mix, sprinkle it on carpets and use shop broom to scrub it into carpets and vaccuum. It's a must have in our house for multiple reasons.

I’ve started using Arm & Hammer baking soda in my laundry and it sure does help make the clothes feel and smell clean along with the detergent.
