I use this in cooking, laundry, deodorizing, drain cleaning and pool (best way to raise ph+). When i open the package i fill a mason jar for my cooking purpose to keep it fresh longer. Then i fill other containers for what it will be used for. A bowl with lid for laundry, so i can scoop and put directly into washer, shaker jars for fridge, and for trash cans to keep smell down. ( great for diaper pails ) so many uses.

It is economical price wise as well as not having to lug or buy 15 of the little boxes however maybe in a few bulk bags together. go thru alot of baking soda in a year saves money just not too keen on one big bag that will lasty a year lets see how long the close strip works

The very best. It's perfect for cleaning and used with white vinegar for cleaning it's superpowered! I stopped using all of the other detergents & cleaners years ago replacing them with Arm & Hammer soda, white vinegar, & borax. I even use it like scouring powder in sinks and tub. Works great!

I use Arm and Hammer Pure Baking Soda for many reasons. I use a scoop in my laundry to freshen sweaty clothes and towels, and to help brighten my whites. I also make "fizzy colors" for my grandsons' baths. I put 2T of baking soda in a small cup, add a few drops of food coloring, then add 2T of baking soda on top to hide the food coloring. After they have washed in the bath I give them the cup of baking soda, with the food coloring, another cup with white vinegar and a spoon. They love making the baking soda fizz and finding the secret color in the baking soda. The large size bag makes for lots of clean laundry and bath time fun.

Balanced water is a must and alkalinity is always my starting point. Wonderful product for keeping pool water in check as well as reducing cloudiness and giving you sparkling results. Test your water and get it balanced including the cyanuric acid test. This is simply testing for the amount of chlorine stabilizer that is needed to keep you from being robbed of chlorine by the sun and other substances too like everyday dirt, leaves and pollen. If you get your pool balanced pure backing soda will be one of the easy go too’s that will help you maintain it.

A friend who worked at a pool chemical supply store suggested purchasing Baking Soda for the pool when the alkalinity gets low because this is just about the same as what pool chemical companies sell, but less expensive. When the alkalinity and ph get out of whack, I backwash, add half a bag of Baking soda, and check the pool water in 24 hours after circulating the water at least 8 hours. Often, this helps bump up the ph to the correct level and increases the alkalinity reading, too. The bag gives information about how to utilize the product for pool water maintenance.

I use a lot of baking soda because I use it with white vinegar to wash fruits & vegetables. It does a great job because my water is usually tan in color which hopefully means that dirt & other impurities have been washed off. I then rinse fruits & vegetables again in clear water then lay out on paper towels & towel to dry before bagging for use.
