I have no idea how anyone, a tax professional or an ordinary taxpayer, could complete a 1040 return. TurboTax makes it seamless. I received an IRS letter yesterday, and I'm sure my audit defence $40 was well invested.

When trying to pay TurboTax fees, the portal window did not responding. Very frustraing to say the least. My state taxes were not properly filed by the deadline due to demographic information page.

Overall, TurboTax is great. However, year after year, I do not find any improvement with the foreign tax interface. It is confusing, buggy, and makes you rework the entire interview again and again. Basically, I feel the software has stalled.

Needs more detail when inputting K1 figures instead of requiring us to figure them out. Also would not let me change the date for filing even though I was filing 5 days before the due date. It kept reverting to today's date. Highly annoying!

Adding K1 and K3 is so cumbersome. You need to improve this ASAP. Please reach out to me and I can give you examples of how cumbersome it is with K1/K3

Very difficult to change an answer once entered in the interview. Continues to show error when value is at 0, why do you need a date entered with a 0 Value?

My turbo tax product came with a $10 credit for state filing. State filing showed $25 - $10 credit for a total of $15, however when paying you still charged me the $25 for state filing. Not happy to have your product mischarge me.

With the 6 digit protection PINs, we were unable to use them to e-file the tax returns on the night of 10/15/2025. However, we did enter those PINs in step-by-step portion of the data entry.

Software doesn't populate forms accurately when given accurate inputs for Roth back door conversion. Following Turbo Tax article on the topic did not help.

Basically it is a good program, but on the MAC version the list of contribution recipients is not in alphabetical order, whereas it is on the PC version. This should not be hard to address, but it has been like this for years.
