Complete waste of money

I never write reviews, but for something this bad I dealt I should warn others. I was in need of a new trimmer to replace a 17 year old Norelco that can still work when corded, but the cord is falling apart and therefore not reliable for much longer. This looked like a good option, but it is utterly worthless. It struggled to cut my beard hair, taking me almost an hour to do my regular trim routine, which is to cut it from about 10mm length to 5mm. The Norelco could do it in 20 minutes or so. For comparison, I have one of those $10 AA battery micro trimmers that has no problem trimming my mustache hairs, but this thing somehow can’t seem to handle it. And even though this thing wasn’t cutting anything, it was still managing to clog left and right. It came with a travel case, but it was also a joke. It will literally only hold the trimmer, and not the charger, cable, or other attachments. Save your money and buy something better, as I will now have to do.

Doesn't trim your beard from 8 - 10mm

Disappointed. I tried to trim my winter beard down to 10mm(around a %233 length), but it failed to do so. I believe the attachment was inhibiting my beard hair from contacting the blade. I had some luck with the lowest setting on the 10.5mm attachment. I ended up trimming my beard to 7mm, less than desired. It did an OK job, but took way too long to get the job done. The charging system is proprietary. It should be USBC.

The teeth on the beard attachment broke within a few weeks during normal use. I only bought this for my beard. Great device but useless since most important attachment broke. I'll try to get it replaced by

Mostly a fail

Doesn't trim as well as other trimmers I have. I have used it for several months. No, it doesn't get better. MUST remove trimmer length attachment frequently to remove built-up hair. Attachment tines are sharp-ish and rather annoying. Length dial just fell off for no reason yesterday. Easy to replace - but now the 'stops' are missing: turning it up to, say, 10, is possible, but the lightest touch on the top of the trimmer (which of course happens when one uses it) drops the attachment from 10 to 0 immediately. Disappointed.

Trimmer Doesn't Fit Stand Included

I received the trimmer and it works okay. My biggest gripe is that I just spent over half an hour on the phone and emailing pictures to Braun's customer service. However, there's no resolution. They got my phone, address, and email, only to say they can't send me a replacement stand.

Won't hold charge - quit working in less than 1 yr

Received as a gift. Stopped holding a charge in less than a year. Unable to get any replacement as I don't have proof of purchase. Appears other have similar charger issues. Would not buy this product.
