Great Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tv for years in the military until it was broken by military movers. I immediately bought a new one once the insurance came through. Never had an issue with quality or sound the entire time I owned it.

no voice command

i purchased this tv last week. i did not realize that it does not support voice command. so if you want voice command DO NOT purchase this tv. i tried to contact samsung support several times. i was on hold for a long time and then it would disconnect. this happened multiple times.

Voice control is not built in, but the DU6900 TV does support voice assistants like Alexa when paired through the Smartthings App. Our DU8000 TV Series and above offer voice command and built-in voice assistants. Gorgeous picture

Setup was a breeze as was understanding the remote and television features. I've always wanted a Samsung Crystal UHD TV for its picture quality and vivid color! I'm beyond pleased with this television! Samsung has done it again!

Beautiful picture

Very Happy Big TV Watcher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Samsung TV to watch Samsung channels stream channels and watch movies. I love streaming movies I love watching movies and this is my second Samsung TV. I have a 85 inch and now this is the 55 inch and it's in my bedroom so if I don't feel like getting up when I get a vacation day, I'm in the room, relaxing Feet up and the screen is big so I can see what I'm watching. I love the big screen and I'm very happy with my TV and I shall take a picture of it so you can see it in my bedroom specially when we had the epidemic. I bought the 85 inch because I couldn't go to the show and I was a big show Goer so now I watched all those movies on my big 85 inch in the front row and then this is the 55 inch in my bedroom that I just purchased very happy 60 year old with glaucoma.

Worked Well Until...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a great TV that was a replacement to my previous TV that died unexpectedly. Love the picture quality and the sound. The only thing that I dont like that during the day time the TV was hard to see because of the sun. I kept moving it around the house but no matter where I put it even with the blinds down the sun made the TV darker and harder to see. And the brightness settings doesn't help at all. And then all of a sudden the TV stopped working couldn't get it to turn on. Thank God I had the warranty. But after a tech came to fix it I have a permanent black line across my TV.

SMART and INCLUSIVE TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For starters, I wake up every morning and press the Samsung TV button that takes me to my local channels. My loft removed cable recently, so it's great to just have my news in the morning on one-click, as quick and easy as needed for before my morning coffee. I work remotely, so I love the screensaver/energy mode that I constantly see come up when I'm not actively using my TV. For shows and movies, you can download any of the streaming apps and have them set with the click of a button AND you can even use the browser to search for any clarifying questions. One of my ABSOLUTE favorite features is the gaming console connections. It automatically recognizes and saves my PlayStation 4 and I even have my Switch saved as well for quickly switching over consoles after/during game play. I prefer using this TV which is much smaller than my projector, but that is due to the graphics! Skyrim and Pokemon really come to life. My only downside, is that I didn' t go for the bigger size!!

Best 4K Tv

Because I loved it so much and couldn't stop ranting and raving about it. so I've got my grandparents the same model for their home. I love the clarity, sound and the size is just perfect. It easily connects to my smart home and my phone. I have used this tv for more that watching tv but for gaming, movies and as a second display for my work and school life.

Disappointed

I bought 2 of the samsung 50 inch crystal uhd du6900 televisions and I have to say I am disappointed in them. The picture quality isn't what I expect from a samsung television. When watching football or even basketball games the picture is fine when the camera is up. Close but when the camera pans out the picture gets almost a slight fuzzy look or something it's hard to describe but it makes it unpleasant to watch. I really like samsung televisions but this particular model has been a disappointment for me. I have tried adjusting the sharpness,color, brightness ect and it hasn't helped much.

You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. In addition to fine-tuning your TV's Expert Picture Settings, you can also select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience. Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Buyer Beware misleading screen size

Buyer Beware misleading screen size. I got this as a Christmas gift and after watching it a few minutes I realized it was not 55" but only 50" measured diagonally. I was on Samsung chat twice and was finally disconnected when I asked why they put a 50" tv in a 55" marked box. So if you want a 55" Samsung better open it at the store before leaving because it will try to get rid on non-sellers in a dishonest way.

Tricked me, The 55" DU6900 TV measures 54.6" diagonally. If you purchased your TV in a store, it may be possible that you accidentally received an open-box model with the wrong television size inside.
