I used it for the first time today and I'm very impressed with it. I did a lot of research and read the other reviews and this is what worked flawlessly for me. Buy a wooden pizza peel and use semolina between it and the dough. The dough is less likely to stick to a wood peel, and with the semolina each pizza slid off with ease. I used the metal peel included with the oven to pull the pizza out every 20 seconds, and I used BBQ tongs to rotate the pizza 1/4 turn on the peel before putting it back in the oven. Just repeat until the pizza is done. Also it's a good idea to turn the oven down a bit after it's fully preheated. I had my family over and we made 12 pizzas on this and each one came out perfect. Also, the owners manual does not mention anything about seasoning the oven for the first time. Make sure to run it at max for at least 30 min to burn off any oils and residues before you use it for the first time.

Pizzas turned out great! I made an easy/quick dough recipe from the King Arthur Baking Website. As suggested by other reviewers, after preheating the oven/stone, I turned down the temperature halfway and it still cooked the pizza in about 90 seconds. Roll the dough into a thin crust to cook evenly all the way through.

I've been wanting a pizza oven for some time but hated the price of the ooni. We made about 15 pizzas tonight, and everyone was perfect! For the person oiling the peel dont!!!! It's never going to launch. Use corn meal. Our local pizza shop told me to use it, and it slides right off with no issues. Now, to master making my own dough.

We've had the original Ooni since it came out and we've talked about wanting their gas one, but can't justify the cost. We really love cooking pizzas, but managing the fire and pellets with the Ooni was tedious. When we saw this at Sam's, we had to try it. I am so glad that we did. The product is sleek looking. We loved all the accessories it came with and the bag is really nice. The temp gauge on the exterior is awesome, along with being able to dial in your temp. Remember that we are comparing to a pellet fire pizza oven. It cooked the pizzas a evenly while we rotated them. Such a great buy. Shortcut: I also picked up a case of Sam's club cafe pizza dough. They are frozen and formed already. I let two dough sit in the oven for a few hours to thaw/proof. Then I cut each dough in thirds, rolled in to each other, added to a bowl, and returned to the oven to proof more. When it was time to make pizzas, I punched them down and shaped them out. Such a great shortcut when you don't want to make homemade dough.

So much fun with family and friends creating your own masterpizza. Easy to set up. It gets HOT! Preheat full blast 15 mins then I turned it down slightly. There is a learning curve. Flour the peel generously so dough sides off easier. I found it best if you par-cook the crust, then add toppings. No sticking accidents. Also if using meats, put cheese under meat so cheese won't burn and meat crisps. Pizza night ftw! Check YT for other uses like brussel sprouts and steaks!

If you have been looking for a pizza oven but have not wanted to pay the price they have on them, then this one is for you. First this thing is packaged in the box very good. The only thing you have to put together is the peel. Heats up fast and cooks fast. My first pizza I tried the premade pizza crust Sam's has. I did burnt the edges but I still had the burner close to max. I knew for the next one leave it on max for the 15min then turn it down. That way your stone is hot but it doesn't burn the edges of the crust. It took a little longer but we are talking 3 min vs 2 min. I would say with homemade dough for pizza ovens it can be up a little hotter.

Our friends have an ooni but we didn't want to spend the money. We LOVE this oven! The best way to make dough is in a bread maker on the dough setting. 3 1/2 cups flour (king Arthur pizza flour), 1 pkg red star platinum yeast, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 1/4 cup water plus 1 tablespoon. It's ready to cook directly after. Heat oven for 20 min. Use cornmeal on your pizza peel to avoid the dough sticking. Rotate every 20 seconds and your pizza is done in 2 minutes. Rao's margherita sauce with sliced fresh mozzarella makes for a quick easy pizza!

Incredible oven, super hot 🔥, takes a little getting used to blink and it's done, 2 blinks and it's burned.

Hard or impossible to attain that 700 degree recommended temperature but it cooks them faster than you can make them.

This pizza oven is high quality and WOW what a price! Comparable ovens are selling for double this price. This oven puts out some delicious pizza and makes for a fun family activity making pizzas together.
