Was hesitant at first, but I’m so glad I went through with it. By far, the best dryer I have experienced and I travel a lot for work so I’ve had my fair share of washers/dryers. This dryer can compare to some laundromat sized dryers. I can dry my king size comforter and have no issues.

Unfortunately it was my negligence to not clean the filter properly causing that issue. Actually the dryer unit was all good and in perfect working condition. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my LG washer and dryer a month ago. I did my research and found that LG front load washer (this model) was rated very highly. I have had several LGs in the past and found that they wore out very fast. Fast forward to new technology, style, service and support. The dryer has several options including the steam dry which I LOVE. I sew a lot and sometimes I do not want to send my fabric to the cleaners but want a fresh smell - this does the trick. Love, Love, Love it. The dryer setting for bedding is awesome. My sheets get completely dry at the initial settings. So many positive features that really do what they say they will do. The redesign lint tray is also a game changer...no more digging in the machine to pick out stray lint balls.

We bought this washer and dryer pair to replace an older set we bought in 2008 (also front-load and direct drive). The older set was still working fine (I think I replaced a water pump in 2018), we just didn’t want to move them again. The new set has a lot of extra features that we haven’t explored yet, but they’re efficient, quiet, easy to use, and look great. The direct drive really gives peace of mind. We replaced 3 belt kits on a competing dryer between 2020 and 2023 before buying a new dryer. When we moved again, it was LG all the way. I’m guessing this set will see us through retirement. We did go up a model to get the all stainless drum in both. It really makes a difference in longevity and the machines not grabbing your clothes. Worth every penny.

My wife is extremely happy with this washer. We had a rental with a very similar washer and she loved it - so when we bought our home, we purchased this unit. Very fast, very quiet, and very efficient. This model is quite large however - which is great for larger loads. Just make sure it fits.

This is an excellent machine. My one and only complaint is that the igniter switch was broken when it was delivered. The repair had to be sanctioned by LG, which took [for us - almost a month]. Once the repair was made the machine ran beautifully. It’s quiet and efficient.

I bought this a month ago and like the large tub where I can dry a comforter without any problems. I didn't like the fact that an error code showed up on the screen within one week so that has me a little worried to see what the future will hold with this dryer.

I love the size and style of this dryer. My main problem is with the sensor. It just does not get the clothes dry enough. I always have to run another cycle. I understand we're all trying to save energy but you can't make a bed with damp bedding or fold and put away damp clothes. This is even when I use the "very dry" option. And everything is so automated there is no manual function to just set it to run 15 more minutes, etc.,

The Dryer itself is well built and performs very good. The Smart Home features and functionality is a Joke though and tech support is useless.WiFi drops out daily. LG claims integration with Alexa, but don't expect much. The most important need is to tell you when it's started or when it's done and that is not possible via Alexa alone. You will need to perform some "Smart Home Gymnastics" via Smartthings, Hubitat, Home Assistant or the like to get it to do the most important function. LG does not offer any real type of Smart Home integration.
