Awesome walnuts

These walnuts at Sam's Club over the last couple of years have been slipping. This batch has probably been sitting in a warehouse for quite some time, and is definitely not fresh. Having grown up in "The Valley," it is not hard to tell a good walnut from the recent harvest from one that is old and tired of sitting around in a bag on a shelf.Sent email to company. Received coupons for replacements. Said these were harvested 10/24. Seemed much older, for sure.

I buy these often. This particular bag was the freshest, most amazing walnuts! Almost all the walnuts were whole halves, hard any pieces. This is unusual because it's hard to not have many break during transporting or just because of the delicate nature of the nut. These have excellent crunch, great pick me up snack, great to bake with and toss in a Salad. Resealable bag helps keep them fresh and I put them in the refrigerator for added measure.

delicious walnuts. I soak them in hot water with some vanilla and a little salt for an hour, than toast them for 2.5 hours at 270F and they come out amazing. some i eat as are and also will turn them into walnut butter using food processor. glad i tried this brand.

I never thought there was a difference between brands of walnuts but I suppose like everything else (i.e. coffee, chocolate, wine etc) once you ‘be tasted the best you don’t want to settle for less. These Diamond shelled walnuts are very fresh and are not soft and flat tasting like others I’ve tried. I always buy these now and I don’t substitute when they are out of stock! I buy extra and I freeze all except what I’m going to use that week. They are dense so they don’t require much to “thaw” in fact you can actually almost eat them frozen. .

I started walnuts as a recommendation from my dr. Now I have them with breakfast everyday. I do think they have added a lot for my heathy meals. They are one of the foods that is good as well as healthy.

Large fresh walnuts. Great flavor. Meaty. Great in cookies, nut breads like banana nut bread, and carrot cake. I keep them in my freezer to maintain freshness. I also like to snack on them. Great buy.

it arrived in perfect condition. l prefer to use diamond nuts as they are high quality, fresh, and tasty. l like them for my holiday baking best! They were a good price comparable to other name brands!

Diamond shelled walnuts 32oz was cheaper them Walmart brand by two - three dollars a lbs . I planned on making maple walnut fudge. Glad I got a big bag cause I can’t stop eating these..
